"Whoa!" Dregnan hit the ground on his side. "How're we..." He looked up at their opponents. They were metalic monstrosities with nonoticable weakpoints. Their armor was inpenetrable and they were immune to magic. 'We can't fight these things!" He jumped back up and took a step to te side as one of the monster's hand came down at him. It was a large wrecking ball with spikes on it. Dregnan flipped out his book and it opened to a certain page. "Alright, one last time! Toran, let's go!"
Toran appeared by his friends side. "OK, do it!" Dregnan read the spell and Toran lept in the air, spinning his blades. The spell produced and large ball of black matter that sped right after Toran at the ten foot tall metal beast. "Hiya!" Toran's swords made contact on the creatures chest and he bounced off helplessly, but at the same moment the spell came crashing into the beast's chest. Combined with the sword attacks and the spell the creature was caught off gaurd and it fell back several feet. "Huh...it doesn't have actual defense! It's using magic to block our attacks and it can only block one or the other."
Dregnan smiled. "Alright, now that we know how to defeat these things...Let's do it!" He flipped to another page and bean reading another spell. Toran at the same time jumped up again, but this time his swords were glowing red. "Time to end this!" Toran landed on the thing's chest and shoved his swords down on the beast. They met an invisable shield, but at the same time a meteor like object hurled itself from Dregnan at the thing's feet. The shield moved to block the magical blast instead of Toran's swords.
As the shield moved, Toran's blades moved down into the beast andlight shot out of it's chest. "Yeah! It's done for!" Toran jumped off the beast as a bigger beam of light shot out of the beast's chest. "We won!" Dregnan smiled and Toran continued to jump about in victory and shout out various things. The beast exploded and pieces of metal flew out. Dregnan calmly dodged these pieces, but Toran still in mid-air had been hit in the head. He fell flat to the ground unconsious even with his helmet on. "Oh...Toran..." And Dregnan started to laugh. "What are we going to do about you?"
