This is my first post and I have no idea what to write about sweatdrop .
I have been drawing ever since I was five. I have always been the best artist in my class, even through High School. I have been graduated for a while and I am stunned that there are so many amazingly talented artists out there that are way better than me and are younger than me. I think that I have gotten lazy in my drawings over the past few years and I haven't really improved myself that much. But coming here has changed that.
Gaia has truly opened my eyes and has given me a drive to better myself. I have entered a few art contests here and have lost all of them handily gonk . But that just encourages me to try harder. I am going to enter the Halo art contest that Kia is holding, and I am actually going to try hard. In the rough sketches I can already see a change in the way I draw. Who, knows, perhaps I might even win mrgreen .
The only way to evolve your art is to not only practice, practice, practice, but to compete against others that are better than you. When you see what your own style is lacking in comparison, you can go back and improve upon it. I thought that my entries were good, but I knew that the winners were better.
Oh yeah, I am also a game tester. (hint: I am currently testing NBC and I get to sneak peaks at KH2 blaugh )
