"Where on God's name is that gem!!" Maureece growled to himself as he searched the lounge room.
When he realised it wasn't in that particular room, he headed toward the western side of the house, only to see the door was being blocked by a white kitten with a smug little smirk on it's face, and a sleepy looking black kitten behind her.
"Come on. Move it. I got things to do."
Koopling's smile only got bigger, and Wolven was now waking himself up and staring back and forth at Koopling and Maureece.
"I said move it!"
Koopling calmly meowed, and Wolven looked curiously at Maureece.
Maureece didn't realise that his words weren't gettin through to them. Koopling's too stubborn, and Wolven's too dence.
"Move you flee bitten furballs!"
After a short silence, both Wolven and Koopling arched thier backs and hissed.
"Oh this is great. Just what I need right now."
Koopling meowed at Wolven, and Wolven stared at her before answering, "Gem? I know where Gem is. No one else know. But I know. Gem is mine. My Gem!" Wolven scurried out the front door as he yelled, and Koopling gave Maureece an evil looking smile before darting out the door behind Wolven.
Maureece took off after them thinking to himself 'They bloody cats know where the gem is!'
After a few short minutes, Maureece found Koopling and Wolven in the back of the house. Wolven was looking around desperately and Koopling was watching him. As Maureece approached them, yelling questions about the gem's location, the two of them started hissing again. The flame on Koopling's tail became brighter. She leaped forward at Maureece, who easily dodged her and grabbed Wolven.
He held Wolven up and chuckled, "You wouldn't want anything happening to your friend now, do you? Besides, I know you're a fire elemental just that like blasted owner of yours. And so I am. You can't beat me."
Koopling growled angrily, then glanced at Wolven and smiled.
Maureece's grin faded as she smiled and he turned Wolven around to get a look at his face.
Wolven, for the first time ever, had a really pissed off expression. He was growling and bearing his teeth at Maureece and spoke in his usual broken, yet angry fashoin. "You no take Gem away, and you no hurt Koopling. No one hurt Koopling!!"
The air around Wolven suddenly grew colder, and Maureece staired at Wolven as two horns made completly out of ice grew on his head.
Koopling laughed and let out of series of mews. Wolven translated, still stairing at Maureece, "Koopling say she fire, like you fire. But I no fire. I am ice." And with that, he flipped out of Maureece's hands which were now completely covered with ice.
Maureece shoke his hands, started at seeing them in that state, and blew fire on them to melt the ice. He then growled and looked around for Wolven and Koopling, who seemed to have dissappeared in the confusion. Out of his own defence, he turned into his half dragon anthro form and looke around for the kittens.
That's when he heard a soft mew from above, and looked up only to see Koopling wagging her tail happily. He reached up to grab her and merely bit his hands and snickered. Now angrier than ever, her slashed at her with his claws. She leaped up and used her tail as a propeller to hover her right over him. Maureece tried to jump up to grab her, but realized he couldn't move. Koopling snickered again and pointed down at his feet, which were frozen solid and stuck to the ground. Then he looked about and saw wolven rolling on the ground, laughing.
"That's it!" Maureece yelled as he threw a fire ball at wolven. Koopling quickly dropped in front of Wolven and smacked the fire ball off to the side with one paw.
"...Oh. Now I see how it is." Maureece growled as he melted the ice and stood in front of the two kittens.
Koopling was grinning evily and Wolven got into a defence stance.
"You two wanted a fight? Well, you got it."
