The R.M.S Dolfinic
INTRODUCTION:
As I get old retelling myself my story,I can still smell the flowers,and I can still remember those few summer days on our cruise when the sea breeze would be blowing back my hair..... I can even feel the pain and love I felt that built my life to what it know is....

Chapter 1-Sweet Days
"Get up Carolina,ya nos vamos!"[Ya nos vamos=We're leaving right now.]{Carolina:care-oh-liina}
"Ok,ok,its not a big deal."
I woke up and I got dressed.Today we were riding the Dolfinic-a luxury liner headed towards Spain.We lived on an island called:La Islanda Esscencia.[Essence Island]{La Islanda Essencia:la-iislanda-e-sense-ya}I dunno why its called that.Mother told me its because its smelled beautiful here.I guess since I've lived here my whole entire life I've never noticed,but my mom and dad moved here when they got married.They both used to live in Spain,so thats why we're away from Spain by a week's trip.I really would've loved to stay here,but I couldn't.Life just sucks sometimes.It was June 12th and we weren't coming back till next spring because my parents wanted to take a break and I had to study and get started on a career.
"Carolina!!!"
"Coming!"
I went in the living room and greeted my mom and dad,ate my breakfeast,got my suitcase, and took off.

Chapter 2-The R.M.S. Dolfinic
We finally arrived and I could see the majestic R.M.S Dolfinic.Everyone said it couldn't sink but I wasn't sure.About 6 years ago,the R.M.S Titanic went down into the ocean and 1,500 people were "lost"at sea.I was scared,but I decided to make the best of it.My father reassured me the Dolfinic was larger then the Titanic and twice as unsinkable,but he didn't quite convince me.Soon,after a long time waiting in line,we were at the entrance and my father gave a man our tickets.
"So,a man,40,a woman,38,and a girl,16,for first class,right?"the man said
"Yes."my dad replied
"Alright,leave your luggage on that table and you may board the ship.I hope you have a wonderful trip."
We did what the man asked and went up the railing. I could see a whole bunch of people yelling with happiness.I really didn't want to yell,but i changed my mind when I got inside. We found our cabin,and inside was a living room with beautiful furniture and two doors on the right and left way in the back.I walked two the one on the left and opened it.There was a hallway and two doors:My room and my parent's room.I opened the other door that was on the right and found another hallway with 4 doors:The tea room,the study and two bathrooms.I heard a man talking to my parents and went back to the living room.It turned out we had to go on deck because we were leaving Essence Island.When I was up on deck I could feel the crisp,fresh air and the sea breeze spraying my hair.It felt so great and I was happy after all.We finally sailed off and I jumped gleefully.I was so excited. I couldn't wait.....

Chapter 3-John and Candice
"Hi!!!!"a shrill voice called whee
I turned and saw a young man with a girl about my age.
"I'm so happy to see you!"she said.But,I didn't even know her so,I wasn't sure if I was happy or not.
" Oh!I haven't introduced myself have I?"Her face flushed in embarresment"My name's Candice and this is my brother,John."He took out his hand to greet me."Gee,I'm so happy there's another girl on board my age!!"I looked around and saw plenty of teens our age."Well,there are some,but I only saw one person that I started to like..."I looked at her plainly and she could see that I wasn't too amused"I'm sorry I burst in like that but...I ate
lots of sugar this morning..."I waited for her to finish but she was."Can you talk?"she asked.Boy,was she stupid.I got frustated.
"Yes,I can talk....I'm just....tired..."I wasn't gonna admit that I really wasn't the hi!and make friends type.
"Umm....So are you gonna go to Spain too?"I asked.
"Nope,I'm going to England."
"Oh...thats to bad."
"Yes,I know."
"I've never seen you on Essence Island,where do you come from?"
"I'm not sure..."She stared blankly and frowned.
"What?"
"I think I like milk chocolate better,I'm not sure."
"Are you listening?"
"Yes,you asked if I like milk chocolate or dark chocolate better."
"No,I asked if you were from Essence Island."
"OHHH!!!"
I stared
"Yes,I am from there,I'm just on the east side."Not too many people lived on the east side.
"Oh,ok."
"So,are you going to move to England?"
"Yes,that land on the east side is beautiful to move to."
I rolled my eyes and John pushed his sister to the side and whispered to me:"She spaces off when she eats to much sugar."I giggled and Candice pointed below.
"DOLPHINS!"She cried.
After we talked more,and Candice burned off all her sugar by showing us how she could speed walk from one side of the deck to another 20 times in 5minutes it was lunch time.
"Wanna go eat lunch?"
"Okie-Dokie."she started walking to the first class eating area and I followed,
"Hey,John,"I asked"You haven't talked much...So tell me about yourself,"
"Ok...I'm 17,we're from the Taylor family,going to England to live for a while,speak fluent spanish,speak fluent french,..."
"I SPEAK IT TOO!!"Candice frowned and said.
"I know."he replied.
"So,are you single?"I asked in my mind.I thought he was charming and fell in love instantly.
"I'm studying to be a doctor.."
"I am too!"I interupted.We sat at a table and a waitress came over and handed us menus.I looked through mine and John and Candice did too.
"Call me when you've decided what you want."the waitress said and sped off.
"Yum."Candice said.
I grinned and saw my favorite food......Wait,I noticed I have too many.
"What will you guys have?"I asked
"I'm not sure."they both said.
"How about we have sandwiches?"
Later,we ate our sandwiches and some smoothies.
I saw the time and knew I had to study on board the ship as well,so I said good bye and told them I'd be studying and went down to my cabin...you'd never guess what I saw.... eek

Chapter4-Ocean Essence

"CANDICE!?!?!"I yelled,she was peering at a big stack of books..which were almost as tall as her.
"Hi Carrie!"she called,she didn't seem to notice my anger.
"Carrie?...Well,how come you stacked these books,my parents will be skyrocketing!"I boomed
"I didn't,you see,I was going back to my cabin and then...a man came carrying these books and asked me if I could help him and I nodded,so then I knew it was your cabin because you told me your room number so I could come see you later and it was on the door.And because you weren't here yet."
"What do you mean I wasn't here yet?"I asked
"You walk slow."she answered
I rolled my eyes."Well,"I was calm now even though she said I was slow."Lemme see the note on the top,that one there."She handed me the note and I read it out loud.
Dear Carolina,
These books are for your studying,we found them in the ship library and asked a crewmember to take them our room.Make sure to finish them in 2 days because they're due by then.I'll be having tea and taking a walk around the ship.Oh yeah,make sure not to skip your studying....its important,hun.

I sighed and looked up at Candice...
"Candice?"I asked,oh great,she was gone.
"What?"it came from my room
I raced down there and looked at Candice,she was going through my stuff.I wasn't suprised.
"Candice,come on you must go,I gotta do my studying."
"Ok,can we go get some candy from the candy jar though?And maybe some chocolate sticks too?"
"But the candy jar is in the kitchen cupboard.."The cupboard was locked.And the chocolate sticks were in my parent's suitcase...
"I know.I opened it already."
"I thought the key was hidden."
"Its in the study."
I got the key and she was right.But that meant...Oh Oh...I went to my parent's room but it was comepletley clean.I checked in the suitcase and it was also clean..but no sticks...
"Candice..."
"Mut?"Her face was covered with chocolate.
"HOW DID YOU GET THE CHOCOLATE STICKS?"I asked
"I came here and got them when you were going to the study..I got hungry after awhile..."
"It was 15 seconds."
"I know."
"Well,I think you've had too much sugar today."
"I know,that candy jar really was sweet.Literally."
I stared at her blankly and then we heard a knock on the door.
"Miss Caroline here?"a voice called
I went to the living room and I got yet another note from my mom.
Dear Carolina,
You mustn't have to study too much just 1 book per day at any time of the day will be fine.I hope I wasn't to hard on you,honey.Love you!
Mommie
I was glad to enjoy the Ocean Essence...finnally....Candice and I went up to the deck and talked and talked I was appreciating Candice and I was liking her.I now called her Candy.She was my best friend....
"HEY YOU!!!"a voice called
My head twirled around and I winced at what I saw......
