"I always dreamt of a perfect world.
With a perfect boy and a perfect girl.
I dreamt of how he would be.
How he'd always love me for me.
I dreamt of how he could make things right.
How he'd keep me company when I'm alone at night.
I dreamt of the way he'd hold me close and tell me all is well.
How he'd know it all but never ever tell.
I dreamt of how he'd catch my tears and build a bright rainbow.
How he'd be with me wherever I should go.
I dreamt of the way he'd make me smile.
How he'd make my life worth while.
I dreamt of a world in harmony.
A world the consisted of just you and me?

Those dreams I dreamt began to die.
They were based upon one big lie.
I thought that dreams could come true.
I actually believed I could be with you.
I dreamt of how happy we could have been together.
But I saw how someone else could keep you happy forever.
I had so much faith in you and me.
Now I'm left wondering why it couldn't be.
All I had left were worries and fears.
If only you were there to wipe my tears.
All that hope I ever had, it vanished as a cried.
There's no such thing as a perfect world or a perfect life."
