Work sucks apples.
As it nears the holiday season, the Mall's hours get later and my hours go up. I know how to open and close the store on my own now, thank the Gods, but I'm afraid of the busy days. I snap under pressure--which may lead to some bad things if I happen to be on register.
We get no breaks, because it's such a small shop. Often times I'm stuck on register without a breath or moment to grab a sip of something cool.
Luckily, though, people are far too much in a hurry to care about the prices or taste, so, coupled with a long and busy line of customers, they dont have the chance to complain. Which makes me happy, especially.
Though, there's less time to hang out with friends and even less to get to do the things I want to do. This week I get Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday off from work. Personally, I'd rather be working during the week and have Friday and Sunday off. Both of those days are big busy shopping days with my family, and I'd like to get those days back from the clutches of work. Or... my boss.
I'm happy at least with having Friday off, though.
Other than complaining about my hours and being totally dead-tired, (seeing as I had a cat-nap on the Coca-Cola syrup boxes, which are stacked in the back room, today,) I really dont have anything else non-personal.
Personal-wise: family issues, stomach troubles and the harvest moon. In combination, these three things can be disasterous. I know from experience. gonk
