Alone in the dark, sitting absolutly still, eyes blank. The words going around in your head repeating themselvs and with each repeat, they stab you. As the blade penatrates your skin, you can't say it's not what you've wanted for so long. Half of you says to scream...the other says to do nothing. Everything flashes before you; the hurt, the shame, the deceat, the pain. Nothing is worth your time or your thought, so why have either? The blade sinks deeper. That person wronged me and i returned the evil. Equivelance. That person hurt me so i threw it right back at them. Balance. That person brought me up then crushed me, then i crushed them just the same. Got even. You think about all that have wronged you and what you did to them for revenge. Your eyes stay blank but a wicked smile crosses your face. I have served my purpose. The blade gets to its final destination and, for the first time, the people who care about you come to mind. You frantically search for a way to undo what you have just done...but it's too late. You will die and the sorrow you tried to run away from will overwhelm them. You scream for a way out as their warm faces flash in front of you, one by one You draw your last breath as the final face comes forth...the face belonging to a Fallen Angel.
