Halloween.....
Halloween is coming up. And many people think, it's just for Americans. (And many don't.) But Haloween started in England, and was supposed to be the night that the spirits of the dead could come up.
I've always thought that the American Halloween is really just like the Italian Carnivale- Buffy once said of Halloween: "It's come as you aren't night" - which was exactly the point of Carnivale.
And while everyone is getting their Halloween avatars ready, I'm here, stubbornly sticking to my quests.
I think I'll just start saving for Christmas. Christmas is a good time for a nice themed avatar. Though if I see one person dressed as a snowman I will scream. Next year I'm doing a winter one as well. Yaaaaaay Southern Hemisphere.
I guess that's all I wanted to say.
