Kurai looks towards the sun, the at her. He then sighs. “You don’t know anything about Power, do you?”
Ada shakes her head. “Nope, not a clue actually. Mind explainin’ yerself?”
Kurai nods. “Of course…. But I shall explain inside, alright with you?”
Ada nods. “Why wouldn’t it be?”
Kurai nods and starts to walk, along with Ada following him. They both walk into the house.
Now, the house isn’t very large. Maybe the size of a one room trailer, if not smaller. The kitchen and the living/dining room were all connected. And there was a door that had a sign on it that says Occupied and another door that was open, you could see a little bit of the bedroom that Megumi and Kurai both slept in.
The carpet in the living/dining room was a gray blue color. Dark gray blue. The wall was an off white color, with navy blue strips here and there. The kitchen tile was just a plan white tile with blue diamonds in the middle of each seven inch by seven inch square.
Ada and Kurai both walk in and Kurai shuts the door behind Ada.
“Well,” He said sitting down on the only piece of furniture they hand, a light gray blue couch. “Time to explain power to you. Are you ready?”
Ada walks in front of him and sits down on the floor. “Yep. Couldn’t be readier.”
Kurai chuckles. “Good. The first thing you need to know, are the elements.”
Ada tilts her head to the side. “This is starting to sound like a Manga or something.”
Kurai looks at her oddly. “A what?”
Ada looks up at him. “You know, a comic? Only made differently.”
Kurai nods. “Oh… Well,” He looks at his hands. “I have the element of the Air. I’m able to run faster then the speed of sound, and I’m able to you the clean air to heal any wound.”
“Wow…. That’s cool.” Said Ada as Megumi walked out of the bathroom.
“Ew….. She’s in our house now?” Said Megumi disgusted.
Kurai glares at her. “I enabled her to be, live with it.”
Megumi sighs. “Whatever…” She said as she walks into the bedroom and shuts the door.
Ada watched her and now looked at Kurai pointing with her thumb towards the bathroom. “So,” She said. “What element is she?”
Kurai sighs. “Megumi is the element of light.”
Ada seemed interested. “Element… of light? Sounds cool.”
Kurai nods. “It is unbelievable. She can create massive beams of light and strike the enemy with it. It’s amazing.”
“Sounds it.” Said Ada crossing her arms back. Ada then looks at Kurai and then at the ground, then back up at him. “Why are you tellin’ me all this stuff?”
Kurai chuckles. “Because, I can sense that you have power. And I would like to finish explaining to see what element you are.”
Ada nods. “I see…. Alright. Go on, sorry to keep ya stopped.”
Kurai smiles. “It’s alright. Don’t worry about it.” He then sits up straight. “Well, the other elements are Shadow, Earth, Electricity, Fire, and Water.”
“Whoa…. That sounds cool. What one do ya think I got?” Ask Ada.
“Well, Judging by the way you act, -that of witch is how you judge a person’s element if they have one- you would be the element of Earth.”
Ada blinks. “Why would you say that?” She ask confused.
Kurai smiles. “Because, you have a strong look in your eyes and you are very firm. Your heart, from what I have seen is highly strong and durable.”
Ada looks away. “How do ya know that much ‘bout a person ya just met?”
Kurai chuckles. “Well, I suppose you could call it my specialty. I have can read people well, that’s all.”
Ada nods. “Sounds like a special kinda power to me.”
Kurai shakes his head smiling. “No, just a simple people skill.”
Megumi sits down next to Kurai. “Or you like her.”
Ada looks at Megumi. “Are ya crazy er somethin’?”
Kurai looks at Megumi. “Excuse me?”
Megumi sighs. “It’s highly obvious.”
Ada shrugs. “This coming from the one that has no brain.”
Megumi glares at her. “We’re letting you in our lovely home, and this is how you are going to treat us?”
Ada looks at Megumi. “No. ‘Cause you didn’t invite me in, and Kurai did. So I’m gonna treat Kurai with the respect he dissevers, not you. Yer just a spo’l’d lil brat. Get over yerself and get real.”
Kurai just sat there, the whole time.
Megumi did as well. She then stands up and walks into the bedroom and shuts the door.
Ada smiles. “Mission, successful.” She said with a sly smile.
Kurai nods. “Well, let’s get you started on your training, okay?”
Ada nods. “Alright. Will do.” She said standing up and jogging outside. She sounded excited about it. And she wanted to learn how to control the earth. It sounded like so much fun.
Kurai follows her, but at a walking pace. He shuts the door and grabs a chair walking over and sitting down in front of Ada. “Are you ready?”
