continuing I do like the results from the Breeders Cup, yesterday though! I'm so sorry for Pine Island's family though. I know what it's like to lose a friend like that. sad I hope Fleet Indian (name?) gets better soon. I'm SO glad Bernardini didn't win! I'm so sick of royally bred horses winning everything. stressed Even if Invasor was royally bred, too. I don't support royally bred horses. Sheikhs already have enough things and money anyway. If Barbaro hadn't broken his leg, he would've beaten Bernardini. I'm so happy he got his cast off today! Besides Bandito, he's my biggest horse idol. His [injury] story's really inspiring to me. biggrin The Distaff was sad, but Breeder's Cup Classic was really good. I knew or heard of all but 4 of the horses, so it was a pretty good race. Out of all my 6 favorites, I wanted either Brother Derek or Lava Man to win. Lava Man cause his owners are normal people. Yay average Joes!! whee I'm glad Ouija Board won her race. She's a favorite of mine. So was Round Pond, because of the Matz-Prado connection. (Barbaro's jockey/trainer) The Juvenile was good too, since I had something like 4 or 5 favorites. One of my top favorite horses was Silverfoot, because he was SO DANG PRETTY. @_@ Too bad he placed 7th. He looked a lot like Star Over the Bay for 2004.
