*Me Mornin' *NJHS Concerns *Old Folks *9:00 Orchestra Rehersal *Veteran's Day Assembly *Raspberry Punch, Loitering Around the Library, and Free Cake ^0^ *Bee In Yo' Lunch ~Me Mornin~ It all started out when I woke up this mornin.....but doesn't it always? Unless....erherm..nevermind. I had to get up extra early 'cause I had to be at school by 8. ( NJHS purposes) So I went into my closet to decide what to wear. Well, when it comes to that, I didn't really have an option 'cause I had to wear my orchestra uniform. It's pretty...well...baggy-blue-poloshirt-tucked-into-black-dress-pants-and-black-loafersy if you ask me. I put that on, did my hair and all that jazz. Oh yes, and my mom bought me some new earings that I put in an' I haf to put alchohol on it to disinfect things. (it burns 'cause it's working) I went downstairs, had breakfast, and soon we were off for school. Well, a little early I might add. We got to school at 6:30 in the mornin burning_eyes So I had nothing to do untill Maggie got there at around 7:30 or so. Soon, all the NJHS people got there and we were being taught how to put ribbons on veterans. I was kinda nervous about escorting Old People around the school though. ( Lost? Well, too bad untill you get to the NJHS Concerns part wink )
Section 2: NJHS Concerns
As you can well imagine, NJHS is for smart people cool I mean not every one in NJHS necessarily smart *coughcoughannapricecoughgak* and not every smart person is in NJHS. Ya dig? Well our requirements were that we had to be at school before 8 and you had to be dressed very nicely. I had to wear my orchestra uniform though, and it's pretty nice so I counted. cool We were also to greet and escort the veterans around the school before the Assembly. We also were to escort them to a reception after the assembly. So, I didn't even get to escort any one 'cause I had to be at Orchestra rehearsal at 9. None of the veterans got here untill.....after 9!
Section 3: Old Folks So, As I said, we had to escort old people. From what i've heard, it was pretty embarassing. A girl who escorted one said the things that follow: Chelsea- hello sir, would you like an escort? Guy- sure *links arms* Chelsea- O_O r-r-r-right this way sir. I'm partialy glad that I didn't have to do that. I don't know what I would've said to them. I probably wouldn't have even approached them. Usualy they smell like shaving cream surprised There was a surprizing amount at the assembly. Lots of people came up to the microphone to tell what they did in the war. It took quite a while.
Section 4: 9:00 Orchestra Rehearsal Yup, Orchestra rehersal at 9:00. Luckily, another orchestra person was there at the guest sign in table so I could know when to go in. Before I knew it, it was time to go to rehersal. "I'd much rather be escorting people than rehersing", I thought. Well I don't know if I was right to think that or not. CAUSE I DIDN'T GET TO!!! crying I went into the orchestra room, got my instrument and music, and after a strangly long amount of time after I was ready, I went to the Gym. We set up and practiced a bit. After length, the band joined us and practiced as well. The poem person rehersed too. I don't know why she bothered, she stank either way. say look, an air plane! So did the other poem people. The camera people were ruining the whole thing, ruining every moment of the show. They just had to get the oh-so important photos of the least important things. Just when you were really getting into the stuff, they ruined it with their "sneakyness" OMG THERE'S A SALE ON CANDEH AT...THE CANDEH SHOP!!!!! Soon the program began.
Section 5: Veteran's Day Assembly Yup, it was better than last year's. mrgreen It started out with the...nyeh..poem person and the band. They were pretty good. Then Mr.Cantu had all the veterans come up to the mic. and say what their rank was in the army. It took a while, seeing that there was so many veterans. We finaly got to play, and we played well^^ I thought we were a little quiet though. I guess we were all nervous. There was a lot of us absent too. Skippers. The choir sung and the other....."poem" people "recited their 'poem'". Yes I hate dis-like them that much. Afterwards we cleaned up our krap and I got to escort myself to the library.
Section 6: Raspberry Punch, Loitering Around the Library, and Free Cake ^0^
At last, the reception. There, we escorted our randomly selected veteran and took them to the reception where they are allowed to some "refreshments." Why can't they just call it food? So, after all the veterans got their "refreshments" , we got our ""refreshments" as well. I got raspberry punch, a brownie, and some choco-cake. The brownie was forced on me, I swear! ninja So we loitered around the library and messed with star confetti. ( you see, we were missing math at the moment ^_^) We spent as much time as we could "examining" stuff that...needed to be "Examined." Soon, Mrs. Hauser caught on and sent us to our 4th period elective. It was good while it lasted.
Section 7: Bee in yo' Lunch
Well, as the people who go to lunch with us know, we are attacked by a secret organization of bees frequently and daily. This time, they went medevil on us and sent three of their beeinjas to assasinate us. Well, the were attacking my lunch and one of their comrads got trapped in my lunch box. ( Wal-Mart bag) We were just talking when Crystal said, "Hey, I hear a buzzing sound, Gemi, I think the bee's in your lunch box!" Sure enough, we all got closer and heard an angry buzzing deep within the bowels of my lunch box/bag. I bribed her to open it, offering to get the piece of fuzz off her back. ( I never got to it mrgreen ) She just couldn't rip the bag so I had to put it on the ground and kill the bee by steping on it within the bag. Crystal tried shaking it, but that only p***ed it off more. So I killed it mrgreen . Luckily, I had my lunc h in a ziploc underneath the bag, so my lunch was safe.
Yus, thank you for readin' mah journal. Now please exit through the door to your right. And remember, no loitering around my journal just to score free cake.
