i made dinner, a whole turkey dinner. it took almost 6 hours! but it was worth it. me & my friend Rachel started at 1 in the afternoon on the turkey. she took out the neck, gibblets, & heart. she rinsed it & chopped up the gibbs. we started on the stuffing that we made from scratch. we chopped up 2 loaves of french bread in slices then cubes. put in the gibbs, olive oil, rice oil, spices, apple, & some other stuff i don't remember but it was really good. i put in 1 can of broth & stuffed the damn thing. the rest we put in a crock pot. then we talked for a while as we crushed garlic for everything. we used 2 whole things of the stuff. guess who had to squish it...yeah, me. then we did potatoes, put out the table cloth for the buffet & dishes & silverwear. i cooked cranberries & did a "i love you" pie for Rachel's little girl, Lydia. but it turned out really good. i made a tangerine glaze over the top. i made it with tangerines juiced, a bunch of sugar, & a lot of wine, red wine. it was really good. muti, Rachel's mom, brought a cheesecake & a blackberry pie. Hannah & David & his son came & brought a salad. my parents brought another loaf of french bread for garlic bread, a couple bottles of wine while we already had 3, & a bottle of i think vodka. i didn't get home till almost midnight. twas an awsome nite.
