Allright, here's a journal entry, you're not going to want to miss. ;D
This is what happened:
As my day of school was pacing down to the end, around 3:00pm, I boarded the bus. Wind then were pretty strong, strong enough to have spit fly back and hit you in the face. D: When I got home, I just pretty much slept for a bit. At 5:00pm, I woke up, and it was getting pretty dark. So, my sister and I went outside to play with the wind, and no, we really arn't retarded children. The wind had gotten so much stronger then, you could lean back, and it would carry you, as if you were floating. It was pretty cool. But after that, things started getting really rough. At about 7:00pm, my mother and I wanted to walk down to the store about 2 blocks away. We live across the street from a park, so we started to walk across there. Winds were incredibly high, almost knocking us down. D: As we got to the covered basketball arena, a bright blue flash of lighting lit the starless sky, and I s**t myself. (Not really.) Suddanly, all the lights in my little hick town were out. I yelled "Oh s**t!" infront of my mother, she didn't mind. It was a black out, and the eletricity JUSt turned on. So, after thunder and lighting staring at that very moment, we made our way back to the house, we saw a figurre come running up to us, we had no time to react, but thankfully, it was my older sister. She came running out of the house, and we all huddled together. We though about going back, and walked back to the house to get more flashlights, but we finally decided to walk to the store, we needed stuff. So, we got all our flashlights, and started walking. Once we got to a porter potty, and the door swung open and scared me shitless. And then my mother laughed, and we started walking, and the door swung open again and hit her on the a**. It was funny. We couldn't walk through the park, because there were branches falling everywhere, and yeah. So we walked around the whole thing. We saw many people walking around with flashlights, and we talked to them as we walked to the store. Finally, we got to the store, unfortunatly, it was closed, and locked. So we decided to walk down to our not-so-local store, seeing as we didn't have a car, because my father was at work, we walked about a mile to our other store, just talking along the way. Once we got to the crossing walk, I pressed the walk button, but then reilized there was no eletricity, so it didn't really do anything. The policemen put out pretty flares, flares are cool. And we got to the store, they were only allowing 1 person in at a time, because of stealing, or whatever. So my mother bought what we needed, and then we got a phonecall on her cellphone from our father who works at a casino, he told us that it was going pitch black in the casino, and people were leaving. So, he left work and told us to wait in the parking lot of a store, he came in about 20 minutes, and we drove to a Wal-Mart, they were closed, because of black out. That was a whole city away, so that trip was useless. After that we lit about 10 candles and just waited. After about 1 hour, I decided to call one of my best friends, Kasey. (Sox.) We talked for about 2 hours, I read her my 5th grade private journal. It was funny. After that, we got off the phone, because they still had their power in their city. D: So, I came up into my room, flipped on the light switch because I wanted to know when the power came back, and laid in my bed watching the candle flicker for about 25 minutes, they slowly faded to sleep. A flash of light went in my room, and it was the power. My mother ran into my room, screaming "Wooohoooo!!!" and said "Fire" on accident, because I was sleepy. I meant lights, of course.
That was one of the biggest storms ever, looking outside the window, huge trees have fallen, and branches too, puddles lakes have formed in the park.
