Black and gone
is the way
that ive felt so long
is this death
is this pain
is this really how it feels to be in the rain.
this i ask
when i finally step
into the sunlight
and take one deep breath.
is it real?
is it fake?
is this life
or just a prank?
if i die
what happens next?
is there another way?
or is this just a test?
this i ask you
for i do not know
maybe ill just sit here
and watch the show.
the show called life
as i watch it unfold
as everything around me turns gray and old.
all i can do now is remember the past
remember the pain
and remember the laughs.
