Basil, I salute to you.
Ok, this is what happened...
In primary school, we learn French. The problem is, we didn't learn french in french. It was more like Society and Environment. Basil was from Switzerland and came to Australia for a while. Last year, he was in year 7, and stayed in year 7 this year because they couldn't get him into a high school.
Anyways, they were doing a project on GreenHouse Gases and what-not. Then, when it was his turn to present his speech, it sounded like he had copied it down straight from the net. the teacher told him many times to explain the last paragraph without looking at the page. He kept on looking.
The teacher told him to put it down on the floor. He still looked. So the teacher told him to give him the piece of paper. He bent down... Walked over to the teacher and yelled in her face, "Why are we doing English in French!? This school is weird! I came here to learn French! I don't like it. And I hate you!"
The teacher sent him immediately out the class. There was a bicycle helmet in the way and he booted it half way across the school. Then he started swearing in Swiss or something. Then, all the way from the other classroom, he shouted, "THIS IS NOT FRENCH!" Thus, he was suspended for a day or two.
See, the reason why I salute him is because no-one really likes the french teacher. So, thankyou Basil. Too bad I wasn't there to witness it
