Ok, I forgot to tell everyone how court went yesterday, it was great!!! My team arrived, and we were the only one's relaxed, everyone else was uptight and like robots, it was kind of scary lol. We went inside and relaxed and signed in, learned the schedule and such. Then we went to our first trial, for our first trial we were againt YC Gold team (there are three YC teams , gold, white, and silver, so they color coded them lol) They are the oldest and toughest team. We were new to this, and were really nervous, but I think we did a good job for our first time. We won the verdict and that made us happy (you don't win because of the verdicts, the judges rate each group with points, and at the end of the day , the team with the most points win) Then we went on to our second trial and again won our verdict. We had lunch and relaxed before moving onto our third trial, we had already won again YC's gold team, which is the most elite, but we lost to their Silver team, in the third round, which is their second best team. Then we went to our fourth and last trial, we did good, but the judge didn't render a verdict. After that we went downstairs to the awards ceremony. YC gold took first, and will represent the region in the state competition , Lake Havasu took second, YC silver took third, and my team and YC white didn't place, but I think we did a great job, especially since all the other teams have done this before. I'm very proud of my team and can't wait to do this again.
