And, I regret to tell you all of an awful experience that I went through, that I haven't told many of.

I went to the dentist on the tuesday of spring break. I had two cavities, and they had to fill them. I realized later that I had been forgetting to actually brush the digesting surfaces of my teeth. I had been only brushing my teeth near the gums.

Anyways, I recieved the two shots necessary to numb my mouth. I was fairly used to the procedure, and I didn't care that much. Then they left and said that they'd let me rest for a while. So, I'm sitting there and suddenly my heart starts to quicken and I get a wierd sleepy feeling. I then recognized it from earlier when I had gotten my wisdom teeth removed. At this point, I was believing more and more that I was being put to sleep. I started to drift into sleep. All sound that I heard became more and more quiet and I felt like closing my eyes. I tryed to stay calm. Then, instead of falling asleep, I came back. The urge to have my eyes closed left and I opened my eyes. All I could see was purple, and it looked like static on your television set. It was really wierd, I could barely see. Then sometime after that, I could view one bright thing. It was this bright white square. This was freaking me out mainly because I had convinced myself that I had already died, and I was viewing that brilliant color of white that people see when they die. I stared at it in amazement and slowly a pain grew in the center of my head. It got really bad and maybe a bit before that, I realized that I was sweating profusely. My forearms, I could see, were covered in big droplets of sweat. It was rediculous. My entire body was sweating as much as it possibly could. My shirt was wet in front as well as the back. The pain was pretty bad. Eventually, the contrast became less; that was the main thing, the amazing contrast between the square and anything else. The square was really just the window. The sun was shining on it. It still was hardly bright at all, so I don't know why it turned bright white. It was just a feeble orange. Eventually everything went away, and I was fine. I told the dentist what happened, and she said that I had a reaction to the novacain. Then they filled my teeth. When I left, my back was still soaked with sweat.

It was pretty bad, but I didn't want to talk about it because my mouth was still numb.
