Graveyard Statue
A statue that can only cry but never speak.
Can only sleep but never drink.
Mourn but give no names.
Call and play no games.
You can't hear me, you can just see.
I can't follow your footsteps, can just watch you leave.
You won't glance back, not even say goodbye.
Etched in stone I'm alone again I'll be standing in this place and I'll wait for you to come back today, tomorrow, and all time.
