Far south from the fight between the sisters, back at Tina's place, Aussa was enjoying a day of game playing until a knock came to her door. Zapook stood at the entrance, smiling innocently and joined Aussa.
As Aussa continued her game play, Zapook sat behind her, and started to rub the smaller cat girl's shoulders.

Aussa looked up at her, a little nervous by Zapook's actions. "Um...I can't play with you doing that."

"Aww..I'm not doing anything...keep playing."

"Is something wrong, Ms Zapook?"

"Nothin much...it's just boring with out having Zee or Tina to bug."

"But...they'll be back soon. I'm sure they're on thier way home now. Please...stop that." In responce, Zapook licked the side of Aussa's face, making Aussa jump to her feet and back into a corner of the room. "I'm serious! That's just wrong!"

"Oh what are you afraid of?"

"I'm a girl for crying out loud! Plus I'm younger! Zapook that's sick!!"

Zapook looked over blankly and started to giggle, "Wait...you thought....Ahaha! Get a grip! I wasn't gonna do anythin like that to you! What's wrong with you!"

"Why were you licking me then?"

"Why else would I do it?"

"Well, you could be hun- .....oh no." Aussa stared at Zapook, who grinned back at her evily.

Zapook walked toward Aussa with her arms open. "Now come here..."

Aussa screamed at the top of her longs and darted out of her room door with Zapook following close behind her. They darted past Wolven and Koopling, who were curled up next to each other sleeping, and past the living chain called Whiplash, who was hanging from the cieling in the kitchen. Zapook was finally closing in on poor Aussa as they finally made thier way to the balcony at the very top of the house. Aussa started to climb Tina's tree itself and Zapook seemed un able to grip it's bark.

"Will you get down here!?"

"No! You're not eating me! And I'm telling Tina when she gets back!"

"Now...who said I'd eat you?"

"I'm not stupid!" Aussa said, barely clinging to the branch, "I'm telling papa too!"

"You know...It's not as bad as it seems."

"I'M NOT COMING-" The branch that Aussa had wrapped herself around suddenly broke, making her fall into Zapook's emprace. She screamed and flailed in Zapooks arms, begging to be let go, until she heard Zapook's purring between screams.
Zapook was rocking back and forth, cuddling Aussa and purring, then smiled at Aussa and whispered "April fools..."

"...Wha...? But you were chasing me..."

"Like I said, what made you think I'd eat you?"

"You said you...and...and..."

"Just because you're licked by a catgirl doesn't mean she'll eat ya. Could also be her showing affection. I just wanted someone to cuddle." Zapook nuzzles Aussa and purrs louder.

"Oh...guess I never thought of it like that."

"I can only eat small things anyway. Can't eat like my counter part."

"So why didn't you tell me that from the begining?"

"Cause the chase is always fun." Zapook said with a giggle.

Aussa laughed and leaned back and Zapook and stared off into the horizon. "You think Tina's found Zee yet?"

"Hmm...something tells me she has."

"Think they'll get home safely?"

"Oh definetly. You may be right. They may be on thier way as we speak."
