Bio: He is the missing knight of the round table. He was one of Arthur Pendragon's closest friends, but was struck from the pages of history simply because no one knew he existed from the legends. He spent his entire childhood with the once and future king, having been raised together. However, shortly after Arthur met the first Guinevere (she was later murdered and replaced with a whore look-a-like, explaining why she suddenly changed from a warrior queen and ended up cheating on Arthur with Lancelot), Myrddin Emrys Aurelius, better known as Merlin, told Sebastian that in order to ensure that Arthur unites the Britons, he must fake his own death as a motivational factor. Unfortunately for him, Merlin had set him up and he awoke, finding himself a vampire with little memory of his past. Years and years later, after Arthur's ill-fated battle with his b*****d son, Mordred, Sebastian was one of his guides to Avalon - even if he never set foot on the land.
Over a thousand years later, he has found himself in love with a man named for the one that forced him into his life as a vampire.
Because of his status as an "Ancient", he is not harmed by the sun, nor holy water or really any of the vampire myths. He does, however, crave blood, but holds this in check very well, also because of his age.
Personality wise, he is an enigma. He's not overly serious, but he is dedicated to whatever he sets his mind to. He is, to his bones, a noble knight, despite his tendency to find everything amusing. He is desperately dedicated to and in love with Myrddin Luck.

Bio: Myrddin has always been pretty lucky, despite his many illnesses. He has two parents that love him, an older sister who doesn't bother him much, and a few close friends. Good grades, and he's never had anything horrible happen to him. He spends most of his free time at conventions - Renaissance, mostly. He loves the atmosphere and all the people in costume. On one such Renaissance festival, he met the handsome and somewhat silent Sebastian - a man that seemed to fit into the crowd seemlessly. Enthralled, the two of them struck up a conversation which ended in the exchanging of e-mail addresses.
After nearly a year of corresponding, Sebastian tells Myrddin who and what he is. At first, the young man is completely against it. He refuses to talk to the vampire, but... he can't help but to keep in touch with him, mainly because he has fallen in love with the noble vampire.
At this point, much of their banter has become centered around what the whole immortal/mortal thing will end up doing to their relationship.
Myrddin is one of those do-gooders that either says too much or not enough. He's not very outgoing, but he is fiercely protective of his friends and family. He has a weakness for witty banter. He has an inoperable brain tumor that gives him an almost constant headache, epilepsy, a heart murmur, and quite a few other undiagnosed problems. He refuses to go to see a doctor about these things, however. He is convinced that there is nothing they can do, and he is, in fact, correct about this.

No one knows what brought about the modern days, nor what the strange relics left over from the past really are. All records have been either lost or destroyed, and all that is left is the story of the Watcher, but even that is in pieces. All that the people need to know, or so the Watcher's Chosen say, is that the Watcher is their Lord, their master, their everything. What the Watcher says is what is truth. But no one knows why, nor when the Watcher first appeared. People rarely complained of the Watcher's policies, whether for fear of their lives or for actual contentment can't be seen. Until the Odd Days started, at least. Everything begins to crumble. Plants are dying, water is drying up, and the sky is darkening. Now a small group of people hiding in what was once New York City's Grand Central Station are planning and plotting to find out just who the Watcher is – and how to fix what's wrong with their world.
Sebastian Cyneweard Journal Number 1: June 8th 21XX
Things have been happening. Weather's gone crazy, there are some weird sounds and sights in the southern sky, and no one knows what's been going on. Just last night it was like a bomb had gone off. This bright light just erupted on the horizon, and everyone in the Station panicked. We thought that the Watcher had decided to attack us after all. Everyone else is too afraid to go and check it out, myself included, but someone has to go and see what's going on and no one else seems willing to. So I've volunteered, and I can only hope that the Watcher isn't involved.

Bio/Personality: She says that she can't remember her life before Sebastian finds her in the wasteland that's become the Bronx. She gains her name, Lux, from how Sebastian thinks she got there - through the light. Lux, all alone, decides that she needs to stick close to the one that found her if she hopes to figure anything out, and becomes much like a little sister. But she has a past - one that's much darker than what she could imagine. Lux is very polite and quite, and somewhat awkward. She's easily frightened, and can be described as naive. She is very kind, and very generous despite this.

Bio/Personality: Bast is the son of two scientists that work with the nameless group studying the Watcher. He doesn't really associate with them much, mainly because they're always busy trying to do whatever it is they do, and he has little to no patience with it. He's a "free spirit" that doesn't much like being couped up in Grand Central Station his whole life, and has a tendency to go "dumpster diving" for Pre-Destruction era junk. He never really got along with the other people in the Station, but holds a grudging respect for the woman who organized it all. He sees humour is most humourless situations and really, really likes irony. He was in an accident when he was young (that he doesn't remember at all) that left him scarred and blind in one eye. Sebastian is openly gay.
