Chapter One

"Kaoru..." mumbles Hikaru to his twin brother. "Why are you <yawn> up so early?"

It was a hot summer day outside, the sun had just risen shining brightly into the comfortable (air conditioned) room of the Hitachiin twins. It was a morning perfect for over sleeping in so it was highly unusual for Hikaru to find his twin dressed and ready to go out.

"Ah, Hikaru. Did I wake you?" asked Kaoru. "Do you still have to ask", answered Hikaru as he turned away from the blinding sunlight. "Sorry about that, bro. I was gonna get some exercise tis morning. Wanna jo---", but before Kaoru could finish his invitation he found his brother back in deep sleep. Kaoru let off a silent sigh and a knowing grin. He and Hikaru were identical twins, in fact, they wer so identical that no one could tell them apart (until Haruhi came along) but they had their own differences which they discovered recently. They even took up different interests, making them their own unique selves (yet they could still act as "one" when in the Host Club). So, as Hikaru slept that lazy Sunday morning, Kaoru was about to have a very eventful day...
