Many fans asked why did COLOR just use their old songs. In fact many fans are disappointed that COLOR hasn't thought about recording their old songs into a CD.
According to COLOR's lead vocal, Dark Purple, everyone in the band wanted to start anew and create new music so COLOR's songwriter and guitarist, Grey Silver, put together a new music sheet with new lyrics. After a rough week of practice and recording, the band finally managed to get their new song into the air.
The song is about shedding their old skins to face a new day. And as they reminisce about their old memories and marvel at how long their journey has been; they look forward and see a large expanse of land, realizing that their journey has barely started and that this is just the beginning of more to come.
Many fans were also surprised at Grey's new hairdo. Since the rest of the members didn't change their style, the fans were baffled at Grey's new look. According to Grey, she was very excited about this new opportunity in life so she thought that if the band was going to go through a new beginning then she should also prepare herself for a new beginning.
COLOR's drummer, Hot Pink, remarked at how their new song really affected Grey. While Grey was working on the song, she was easily excitable and didn't sleep much. COLOR's bassist, Blue Moon, described Grey as "refreshingly new" which apparently was what Grey was going for. However COLOR's second guitarist, Jade Green and Purple were less than surprised at Grey's move. "She's always been unpredictable and spontaneous", Green said with a shrug. "This is nothing compared to what she could have done", Purple remarked.
As of now, COLOR's first single, The Beginning, is ranked at #48, barely making it into the top 50, but no one is surprised. COLOR's fanbase has always been the locals and not many people nationwide knows their name. However COLOR is optimistic that their fanbase will grow so they are predicting that by the end of the week their song will reach the top 20 on the charts.
COLOR's fans are showing their full support as they keep calling local radio stations to pick COLOR's new song to air. Many fans are also uploading the song online to spread COLOR's talent throughout the world.
Hang in there, COLOR! This is just the beginning of your long career!
