I guess it costs me three dollars to type one e-mail...

I've been on holiday for about three weeks now and am currently checking out my mail and gaia account because I have about ten freaking hours to wait before my next flight home... It costs about one dollar per ten minutes, and when I started typing up a message to my family back home, I kept having to pop more coins in just to prevent my novelish e-mail from getting deleted before I had a chance to send it. Also, you can't right-click and save text on this thing. I'm glad I'm familiar with the Ctrl-A/Ctrl-C combo...

And I hate waiting, but oh well, what can you do? The check-in desk isn't even open yet so I have to drag my luggage with me wherever I go one on of those handy-but-not-quite-so carts.

I see the Guilds are down. I wonder how long that's been? I can't go on the forums to check it out because this terminal keeps telling me that it's language filter won't allow it, so I guess I'll wait till I get home... rolleyes

I'm so lame... XD

But my copy of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince just came in today! Can't wait to read it!


Then again... I heard some other notable character was going to die in this book as well... It really bothered me (and still does) when Sirius died (or disappeared, whatever it is) so I'm kind of scared someone else I really like is going to die in this one... sad

I just saw this episode of some Emergency-worker kind of series. I can't remember what the title was to the show because I usually never watch it.

What bothered me is that some of the actors had to play cops and paramedics. That's usually okay because most scriptwriters seem to know that these professions have a code of conduct for the individuals to follow. Most scriptwriters...except this guy.

Here's what happened: The emergency room gets a call from some area in town that someone was calling out for help, but he doesn't leave his name. Okay, that happens. So these two cops get sent out there to check it out. First of all, one of the two thinks it's bogus and wants to leave straight away until they run in to this guy (the only one they could see) and ask him if he's heard anything.

And that's where the fun starts. First of all, this guy wouldn't turn around completely to face them (because he was trying to open his car door) but he does answer the cops' questions. All of a sudden, one of the two cops (a female, mind you) starts yelling at the guy, calling him an a*****e because he won't turn around and face them properly. I already raised an eyebrow at that, because a cop's supposed to act professionally and objectively, but okay, I let it slip.
What followed was one half an hour full of cops dragging this guy around, insulting him, shouting at him and manhandling him and they didn't even have any evidence that any crime had been committed by this guy, who was calm and congenial and only had a bad cut in his hand.
Later these paramedics arrive to take a look at his hand and they find out (after patching the guy up) that the first cop hadn't searched the suspect and he turned out to have two knives on him. So one of them starts yelling and ranting at that cop. The list goes on and on.

Basically, the entire episode was full of cops and paramedics yelling and cursing and pushing people around, which is NOT professional behavior...! stare
I don't know why that bothers me because I know it's just a show and they try to keep it interesting for the viewing audience by making it look cooler but it just gives people the wrong idea...!

Been a while since I've last posted. Back then all I had was a black pair of jeans and those gloves. And now, only a month later, my outift's complete, cept for the hairdo.

And I didn't get any docations either.

Besides that, my life's been really dull lately... I haven't had much energy this last month to do anything special and it's looking like this month's not going to be much different. My back's been really sore, but I'm going to start some kind of treatment for that this Friday so that'll sort itself out soon enough.

I need to work on my art more... stare

I found an Enchanted Trunk yesterday... I didn't know it until today, though. You see, I was on the boards and I see this transparant image moving across the page, but it didn't look like a Trunk because the image wasn't loading. I clicked on it anyway because I noticed it was clickable. It took me to Gaia's main page and I didn't see the pop-up either because my pop-up blocker was on.

So in other words, I just sat there and thought "Hmm, that's odd... *shrug* Oh well...". But then I checked my inventory this morning and saw the Enchanted Trunk sitting there.

I opened it to see what it was, and.... they were Prisoner's Pants... xp
So I'm selling those...

Would've been nice if it would've been a Cat Tail, or something else on my wish list, but I'm not that lucky... stare

Oh well! Better luck next time, I suppose...

I just realised that I'm going to have to post ALOT in order to get the stuff I want... Unless I run in to one of those pink links or boxes or whatever. Yeah, I know there's people on the newbie boards offering freebies, but I haven't figured out how to ask for those yet. I'm such a n00b wink

First, I think I'll go for a Cat Tail. I don't think I'll go for the ears, because I don't like those. After that I'll go for a better fishing rod as the basic one's lines are too close together for me. I keep losing the fish and I think that's a waste of gold each time I have to get new bait...

Oh well. That's enough banter for now.
