Rants Raves and Lunatics
umm... a journal, duh.
So out of pure boredom I've come here to talk to myself, because, let's face it, the inside of my mind is far more interesting than the inside of yours is. Trust me, I've been there. It was all dark and squishy and wet... Yes, that's the time you got that headache... No no, I'm not apologising at all. You should be apologising to me. I had to take three showers to... never mind.

My old account, Inersha Blue, was hacked. I'm in the process of stripping it for all it's worth and moving my pieces to Autumn Charms. The problem is, they only let me post two pieces a day and call me a prolific sun of a gun. I feel like decking whoever came up with that little comment. What happened to good old 'you've exceeded the maximum amount of postings for today', huh?

Anyway,I've decided to post tidbits about my writing within this journal along with minor explanations. I'm open to questions. So, let's start from the top, shall we.

Dedicated to -> The title for the book will actually be Deadicated to, however, I don't trust the general public of Gaia to follow the word play as I myself automatically start labelling something from the title. Ironic, because hey, surprise surprise, a title is a label, in essence. I hope you've followed me thus far.

The second thing about Dedicated to, and this is actually an interesting bit of history for you, is that it actually originated from one of those friend/enemy people. She's always making snide comments etc etc and after a year of enduring it for another friend my mind snapped and came out with this. I had been working on it subconciously the whole year, it seemed, and my mind choose to show this to me through a number of dreams in which I watched not only her slaughtered but all my family and friends as well. Therefore I was able to easily relate to Dafne.

I know this is subconciously developed because my siblings have questioned me on a number of aspects about the story and I was able to give them all my answers without batting an eyelid. Only subconcious development of a story ever gives me this much detail. This had happened on a number of occasions, although rarely full length books, but equally as good.

The question I have been asked most about this book: How old is Dafne?
She is seventeen when the war starts, nineteen when she re-intergrates, twenty when she re-joins the war and then doesn't stop for another seven years, when the government finishes the war. Twenty years later, everyone involved in some way with the war have released books about the horrors occuring within the war and what they had to suffer, etc etc, but Dafne releases a book that is dedicated to everyone who died in the war, and tells not only her story during the war, but how the worst part was learning to survive without it. She sees the dead as lucky, in a way, yet the survival instinct within her is so strong she can't bring herself to commit suicide.

Witchcraft, which will be out shortly:
It is a short piece, don't expect anything more from it. Isa doesn't kill the villagers, she turns them into magical folk such as she. Whether she returns is up to your imagination, I like it just the way it is.

The vampire stories: Also coming shortly. With the release of Twilight (movie and book) causing such a ruckus, it seems that vampire romance is all anyone really wants to read. I do give credit to Stephanie Myer, although I am not the hugest fan.

Ok. That's about it for today. Enjoy.
