Day 1-
Today I arrived at camp. I don't have any friends, so I feel a little lonely.
But the Apollo cabin is very nice.
We are starting classes today. I skipped archery,
and slipped into the strawberry fields. I started to play my flute,
and almost got caught.
So I decided to write some poems. I wrote about the sun, and strawberries. I really liked it. I am going to give it to papa; since he just LOVES his
poems.
After archery, it was time for dinner. I just wasn't hungry tonight,
so I sprinted through the forest and into the meadow.
I went to the highest hill and caught some sunlight.
I swear, whenever I put a jar of sunlight close to my face,
it seems that dad is giving me a gentle kiss.
It is about 11:32 at night now, and I can't sleep. It's still fairly early though,
so maybe sleep just needs time.
I really want friends. The girls in the Poseidon cabin look so nice.
But they are part of the big three, so I'm terrified that they'll
think of me as a weak, hopeless girl. I'll give it a shot though.
