Today is the day before Christmas... I am going to tell a tale of a boy and a girl: (WARNING: This may be a very cliche story, Sorry xD)
DEDICATED to the angels I know (and the one I love?)
Sitting on the windowsill of her room she looked out the window into the starry night... Today is the 24th of December, Christmas is almost here... She sighed, she stared out and suddenly a shooting star rocketed down. She made a wish. She wished and wished as hard as she could. She kept staring at the stars and finally, she fell asleep.
The next day she awoke she decided.. it was time to do her annual VERY last-minute shopping spree.she rushed around the mall getting everyone's present... She suddenly stopped in front of one of the shops... She walked in and bought something she thought she would never want: a dragon, it had reminded her of someone-- the eyes were a soft, yet a flaming black. Its scales were a dark crimson. She walked out of the shop entranced by its beauty. As she was walking towards the bus stop she bumped into someone-- someone from her high school-- someone she had liked since 7th grade-- someone named Nick...
"Whoops, sorry Lucia," Nick. And he walked past her like nothing had happened.
She turned and saw him staring at the shop's window which she had come out of. For the first time, she saw the name: For they who believe. Then she remembered, Nick believed in the power of magic. Nick began to walk away and then, Lucia ran to him and told him, "Here--she handed him the dragon--MERRY CHRISTMAS. Sorry it isn't rapped or an-"
"Thanks,"he whispered. Lucia lowered her head and looked away. "Can you look this way?" Lucia turned her head towards him and he gently kissed her cheek. She stared at him dazed, and blurted," I like y-."
"I know what you are going to say, but don't say it, 'cause then, all I'll be able to say is yeah.. me too," he slowly smiled. "I really like you, Lucia, for a very long time, since that first day... the first period... of 7th grade."
They stood there in front of that shop... Just staring at each other for a long time. Lucia felt a teardrop fall down her cheek-- a teardrop of happiness. Slowly they parted.
When Lucia got home, all she could think was... "My wish came true, he smiled... and... he said it."
