I am about to embark on a journey to my homeland, well as close to my homeland as i can call it. Seeing him.... seeing my family.... being in that world i once suffered in....
This will be a strange and wondrous journey. i hope that my life will seem even more amazing when i return. Love will last. Distance makes the heart grow fonder.... i hope.

Years ago this morning I was born.
I was in a hurry to see the world.
My mother used to say that I fought my way out.
She would say that I was still the most fragile thing she had even held.
Now she pretends not to know me.
My father takes me by the hand and says precious,
