Alright so this one isn't really a poem but it is a story of how I am feeling as of this week. It is about someone...if that person reads this then they know it is about them. There is no harm intended or any pleadings...just feelings written out...
There's that one girl that most people have in their life who falls for their best friend. They are scared of what their friend would think because she doesn't know if they feel the same way. Later in life, she finds someone who is amazing. The two best friends are united once more after the boyfriend came along. Eachother's feelings come forward and the girl finds herself depressed because she wishes that she would have spoken up, but she was too afraid and embarrassed. After that, everything changes. She is committed to the one that she is with but those feelings for her friend have never gone away. She lays in bed at night, thinking of what everything could be. Then she realizes that she should just be gratefull for what she has... but she still wonders... it's best not to hurt her boyfriend and she realizes that as well but the feelings from long ago start flaring up more... there is no chance for her in the world and she thinks that that might be for the best. There's no broken heart except for the part that strangely feels missing.
