Yes, Chapter 1, still wanting comments, still wanting feedback, and still open to title suggestions.
I'm only keeping this, because of it's connections to things that actually happened.
Let's Go Back,
11111Back to the Begining,
The sun rose too early that morning, the sky just too clear. The day hadn't really even begun yet, and things were going too smooth. Allegra leant on the pit couch, looking out the bay window. On the street, things seemed so dead, but alive. So still, so plesant. Lilo, the cat, had been lying in the windowsill again. She stroked his head, but he just glared at her.
"Alright! Fine! a*****e cat..."
She said to it, backing out of the window. She bit her finger, the nail too short to get at even. The sun poured through the windows in an akward way. Summer was almost over, so soon. Soon she'd be going back to school, where the drama flows annoyingly. Thinking about it, Allegra considered it might not be that bad, chilling with Her friends, trying to survive classes together, and always laughing about something, but still. She worried, and yet at the same time, hoped, that she'd get a class or two with her best friend, Eric. She never told him, but she had a huge crush on him. Though it had been three years since they had talked for more than 15 minutes, she still liked him, and thought about him alot. She thought back to the last time they saw each other. So shallow, so simple, so short. It had been the last day of school, and the last day of things being so perfect for Allegra. People would be moving away, going to different schools, and things were so mundain. There were several people she wanted to bid fond farwells to, but they all were off on thier own, some wern't even able to sign Her yearbook. Eventually, she had found him. Laying under a tree, in the shade. Many of his friends were sitting around, talking. Allegra reconised a fue. She went over and sat down, Not really noticed by too many. She tapped on Eric's Shin, wondering if he was asleep, or just resting. As he got up, A friend of Allegra's sat down.
"Hey guys, Alli, Sign my Yearbook."
She said, shoving Her yearbook into Allegra's Lap.
"Okay, Jorie."
Jorie had been her very best friend her entire life. It was so upseting that she was one of the 3 or so friends of Allegra's that were moving.
"After you're done, give it to Eric."
"Yeah, okay. Eric, here."
Allegra shoved her own Yearbook at him.
"Sign it."
She said, with false bossyness.
They all swiched around, signing thier yearbooks. When Allegras returned to her, a light, nearly sad smile crawled on her face.
"See ya over the summer. (Mabey) - Eric"
She restrained a tear, and turned to him to say something, anything, though she wasn't sure what, but he had alreadly layed back down, eyes closed once more. Things went how they would after that, people came and went, talking, signing, and the whole time, Allegra just sat there, looking at Eric's shoes, trying to find something to say. Soon, something that would preoccupy Allegra's mind for the following months would happen. A large, kind boy Allegra knew of, Daiki, came over, rambling about who knows what. Later on, Allergra would come to find his girlfriend had just broke up with him after a year-long relationship. He was spluttering out sentances, Allegra could hardly keep up. She had tryed to find out, but there was only further clouds of confusion and drama obstructing what exscatly was going on. All of a sudden, Things hit near dead silence. Or at least they did in Allegra's mind. A freakin meteor could of hit just feet away and Allegra woulden't of noticed. Eric leant up, eyes still closed as he said, calmly yet bluntly,
"Enough with all this teen Drama Bullshit."
and he leant back down. Just like that. It was as if his words commanded the scene for that moment. Allegra was so entranced by the whole thing. It took Jorie's proding over getting up to get more ice cream to awaken her. Allegra Fallowed, though the whole time she could only think of Eric's control, his carefreeness, his face value for the whole thing. Everyone had heard him, and if they had not they had questioned feverishly to find out what he had said. in that moment, she realized how in love she was.
Allegra went out to the kitchen, now hungry. She opened the fridge, out of habit. She knew there was no soda left, and nothing in there was very apitizing now. She closed the door, and looked around the rest of the room wondering what to eat. She kept thinking, and leant on the windowsil. There was another cat lying in it.
"Oh, hey Wildfire. How's my kitty-kitty?"
The cat leant up, a confused look on her face. She was a tortoise-shell orange-black Calico with a orange stripe up the left-middle of her face. She mewed softly, her voice scrachy. Allegra mimiced it perfectly, Cat sounds were a talent of hers. She petted it, for a very long time, until the slightly retarded cat began to drool.
"Oh, now my Drooly kitty."
Allegra Petted her down her back one last time, and then went to lean on the counter.
"So... what is there, what is there..."
She opened up a cabnit under her, and grabbed out a package of tiny doughtnuts. She ate one, and grimaced. They were either old, or just plain awful, yet she went on to eat the last three.
"Fuh."
She sighed in slight anguish. They were sitting terribly in her stomache. She walked back out to the living room, and looked out over the street one last time before heading to bed. She looked from the Perk's house, to the Russ house, to David's place... then she saw something. For a brief second, it was there and then gone. It had looked like little 4-year-old Kevin from the next house over was in his front yard, playing with something small and silver...
