Opening Letter:
Thank you for sending in your Coca-cola bottle cap, our lucky winner!
Find out a little more about what you've won:
Millions have enjoyed the .Hack// franchise. What can be more tempting than the ultimate escape-within-an-escape? Dedicated fans are launched continually into video games, books and tv shows within which even the main characters use a video game to avoid reality.
The concept, innovative enough to capture our attention, has even caught the attention of the world renowned game creators that make up the highly esteemed BREAK company. As the CEO swore later, it was "love at first data drain" after his first game of .Hack//.
BREAK went on to combine the well-loved concept of .Hack// with the stunning new technology that recreates the seemingly make-believe systems shown in the franchise, using PODS to give gamers the full immersion experience .Hack// characters are shown to enjoy.
After a brief trial run (alpha testing) within the company, BREAK has released the beta run-- to a few lucky individuals. Teaming up with the brand Coca-cola, the word Escape was printed on the bottom-side of the cap of a hundred bottles of Coke distributed within America. From these hundred candidates, ten are hand-picked to ensure variety in the audience that will test the product.
These ten are treated to a five thousand dollar reward after they sign a confidentiality agreement, a waiver and a contract, and are shuttled off to The Campus-- a secluded property where the ten, along with three programmers and the CEO, are housed and given the opportunity to try out the PODS and The World.
So congratulations, our lucky winner~! You just may . Escape // !!!
Plot
