i don't post here often, mostly b/c all gaia is for me is a means of acting out my shopping obsession without having to use actual money to pay for it. anyway.
i guess this is going to become my surrogate journal for posting about my bf, because he just makes me deliriously happy.
due to an insane sleeping schedule, and a night where i worked for 10 hours from ~8p to ~5a over the weekend (on an indie film project which was a lot of fun, actually), i managed to sleep through my 11a class. i woke up, was pissed at myself for awhile (since we were going to discuss judy garland and her fandom of gay men, a topic that garnered my severe interest), then debated on going in to campus to do some editing on the documentary project like i meant to originally. after awhile i eventually said ******** it and im'ed my boyfriend, who had a doctor's apptmt that morning regarding his back, which he's had problems with lately. he was out of the house, but i had a key to his apt anyway, so after getting distracted by mum with sandwiches, i headed out.
i showed up on his doorstep with my laptop in hand intending to do a minimal amount of work today, which wound up being no work at all. we lounged, checked out this new trendy market that sells really cool s**t, and after he dropped me off at a class that wound up being less than an hour long, we went back to his place for awhile and then went out to sushi, which we hadn't done in awhile.
i have a crapload of work to do, but i didn't regret today much. like i said, he makes me deliriously happy.
