I worked on this story for 4 years so far and I'm still not done with it ^^;
this is only the first chapter and I have 27 so far. I hope people will actually read it, I never get that much attention so I feel I'm not really good at anything.
Chapter 1 Coming or Going
The wind rushed with a cold and silent blow. The moon shone down heavily on the Earth as the water reflected the sky like a mirror. Mists of rain jumped from the clouds, falling into puddles; leaving small waves of water. The ground selfishly absorbed as much droplets as it possibly could from the sky.
A small house that stood under the magnificently over protective clouds could do nothing but protect the ones inside. The young women, alone in her room in silence, watched the rain splatter; gliding down the window. She was devastated. The one who left her, walking away from her; whipping the tears from her eyes one last time with those soft gentle hands, disapeared. The person who had no desire to leave her, but would take the risk to sacrifice his life for the entire world; filled with lives inside.
Thoughts ran across her mind, her heart pounded at the images playing in her head. She's never slept a full night since he left. Her life wasn't the same anymore, ever since that coin she found had changed her life forever. She was now seventeen but was fourteen when she found it. Lying lifeless on the ground waiting for someone, that special person to pick it up; Kiamiey.

"I can't take this anymore!" Kiamiey cried, her hands tightening into fists of anger. "If I could Shaiten, I would, I'd go too,” she said looking up at the sky from her window.
Her body filled with emotions but she couldn't keep them inside any longer, she just had to get them out.
"But I have to; I can't leave him behind like this! What if he needs me? I've waited two months, and he still hasn't returned!" She said, angrily.
Deep down inside, she knew she wasn't meant to go, but her heart was leading her to Rigal Terror.
"Even if I did go, I wouldn't know how to get there,” she said; confused.
As much as she did, she couldn't, Kiki wouldn't allow it. She felt sad, disappointed, confused, worried and angry all at the same time. "What if he hasn't come back because...he's dead!" she cried. This made her even more concerned. " I can't take it anymore, I have to go!"
She stood up, and headed to her room door, but she seized in her position.
"No, I couldn't, he didn't want me to go in the first place. He probably would be upset with me and angry for not listening to him, but that's who I am. I don't care what he says," she said, feeling a bit guilty. "If it weren't for him I'd probably be dead. When do I ever have a chance to save him? Never! This is my only chance I can prove that I can do stuff even better than he does."

It was decided she would go and help him out. Kiamiey took off down stairs silently trying not to get caught by her overly supervised aunt and crept down, step by step. As soon as she reached the last stair a silent, unsure growl came in front of her. Two glowing eyes appeared from nowhere, hunting her down like a fox.
"Not now!" she whispered.
There stood the mighty Chickachow protecting his territory.
"It's just me Chickachow, see?" she whispered.
His head tilted to one side curiously as he could sense her smell. He gave a small whimper as she patted his head softly. He was too tiered to do anything and ambled his way back to his bed lazily.
"That was close," she said, to herself. She sneaked across the room heading to the front door and she was off. Not knowing where she was going; out in the streets late at night. Her aunt was still in bed not hearing a sound.
"This is great, now I don't have to worry because I'm coming too Shaiten," she said.
She walked down streets, and city's to get there, though she didn't know where it was.
"What do you think you're doing child!!" Shouted a voice from the sky. "What?" Kiamiey asked, puzzled.
"Why are you out on the streets this late at night?" Said the voice.
"I'm going to Rigal Terror, why do you want to know?"
"I only asked Shaiten to do it, not you!"
"Kiki? But why?"
"Of course it's Kiki!! This going to Rigal Terror thing wasn't meant for you. You wouldn't make much of a difference, even if you went!"
"How do you know? He could be dead, and I have to be there,” she cried.
"No you don't! The demons would just tear you apart, not even a Kia blast could kill a flock, and he's not dead, he just arrived two days ago."
"What do you mean he just got there? It's been two months, what took him so long?"
"Getting there, you didn't just think you could fly there and you're there without any special training, did you?"
"Well, I don't know,” said Kiamiey.
"Of course you didn't know, Rigal Terror takes a lot of experience to even approach the place. It's stupid to attempt going if you don't even know the things you have to do!"
"Like what?" Asked Kiamiey.
"A Shihiro is required, do you have a Shihiro?"
"No,” Kiamiey said, disappointed.
"And besides, you have to have a trained Shihiro to even pass those parts, or else the Shihiro could burn into flames from the temperature levels in that place."
"But wouldn't you melt yourself if it's that hot?"
"That’s the other thing, you have to have the ability to expose yourself to heat, it takes a lot of practice and experience to do such a thing,” she said.
"Oh, I see,” said Kiamiey, sadly. "How long does it take to get experienced?" There was no answer; Kiki's voice vanished from the sky.
"Thanks a lot!!" Kiamiey said angrily.
She now knew she had to go back home no matter how much she wanted, no matter how much it hurt, no matter how much it bothered her she couldn't go with him. She was no longer off; she was heading back home, disappointed.
The next day arose, Kiamiey got out of bed depressed.
"I guess I could hang out with Yatryne for awhile, there's nothing else to do,” she said, as she sauntered down stairs.
"And what are you so down about?" Asked her aunt, who was sitting at the kitchen table.
"It's just, well I kind of miss him,” she said, with a bit of embarrassment.
"Oh I see, so you like him now?" Her aunt asked.
Kiamiey's eyes widened, her face became humiliated.
"He's just a friend!!" She said, angrily.
"You don't have to get so mad Kiamiey, I was just asking."
"What makes you think I like him in the first place?!"
"Well... the way you tend to talk about him just makes me wonder."
"Just because I talk about him doesn’t make me want to go out with him!!"
"Alright Kiamiey. It's just that before you never seemed to miss him so much, I was just a bit curious,” her aunt said.
"He just changed a little that's all,” she said, feeling stupid, "look, I've gotta go!" "Where are you going?"
"To find Yatryne,” she said, angrily and stomped out the door.
"I don't believe it...she thinks that way about me...he's just a friend...” Kiamiey mumbled down the street. When she arrived at Yatryne's house she knocked on the smooth wooden surface of the door. The barrier slowly turned back as Kiamiey's friend stood looking surprised.
"Oh, hey Kiamiey, what's going on?" asked Yatryne.
"Do you want to do something?" asked Kiamiey.
"Like what did you have in mind?"
"I was getting kind of bored and I thought we could hang out our something,” she said.
"Well...okay," said Yatryne.
They both sat on a smooth, round rock towards the dazzling stream.
"I haven't seen Shaiten lately, do know where he is?" Asked Yatryne.
Kiamiey's heart started to pound.
"I...think he had something he needed to do."
"Like what?" She asked.
Kiamiey didn't really want to talk about it, it made her feel disappointed.
"He was going to go somewhere far away,” she said, nervously.
"Is he moving?"
"No, he's just visiting."
"To where?"
"To...uh...I think it was to..."
‘The center of the earth, also know as hell,’ Kiamiey thought. "Some place where it's really hot and there's not much there,” she said.
"You mean like a desert?" Asked Yatryne.
"I guess you could call it that."
"Why is he going there for?" She asked.
"I'm not really sure,” said Kiamiey.
"How come he's never told me about this?" asked Yatryne.
"Well...it's probably not that important anyway."
"How do you know, did he tell you?"
"All he said to me was he won't be back for a long time," said Kiamiey, as her voice trailed off.
"What's bothering you? It's not like you're missing him is it?"
"Me? No, of course not! He's just a pain and annoying" she said, trying to hide it. "That's what I thought," said Yatryne.

The sky was blood red; clouds were a sign of pure evil, as they balled up together becoming grave. The air made your face burn as it touched. The dirt burned underneath the flesh, it would melt inside your skin through the bone; the ground was glowing red. This was one place where life wasn't meant to be lived on. Water wasn't possible, but lava took its place with the fire that lived inside the sky. His powerful sword dived down to thrash a dishearten beast. It was no use, these things were unstoppable. He was the only warm hearted creature there, in this place called Rigal Terror. His powers were useless to these malformed animals. The only tool he had was the weapon gripped tightly in his hand. It was more than a sword but a memory of his past. The last gift given by his father before he was taken away from life; before the Kia planet had blown into debris. Though he was only a small child, he still had the remembrance strong in his mind like it happened yesterday. Ever since that day when he found his father was no longer by his side, he kept the last thing his dad had ever treasured with him.
He remembered the tears in his father's eyes that fell from his face, as he held him close in his arms; knowing they wouldn't see each other again. The object wrapped in cloth to secure the tool from becoming ruined as his father placed it in Shaiten's small grasp. It was bigger than him, at the time. It didn't matter how young he was, he understood how precious a sword was to be handled. He practiced alone with it until he was as good as him; to know and feel his dad would have been proud of his accomplishments. This weapon was used in every battle, and was dedicated to the life of his never forgotten dad. He had no other choice but to use it for defeating these appalling creatures. It was like a nightmare, only worse; he would never get out of it unless he put an end to it. The more he used his cherished sword the worse the demons became.
"I can't give up!!!" He shouted.
He thrashed his sword even faster and more violent than before. There were too many of them, and the heat was unbearable. Sweat covered his face as it slid down to the scorching burns of the melted dirt; which evaporated from the heat. He was too hot, but not hot enough to give up from the fighting. His sword slipped from his hands as his grasp became loose from the sweat of his palms. It was even harder than before to hold a sword especially in the unimaginable temperatures. His hands clenched tight around the wooden bar.
"Why does it have to be me? Why couldn't it have been someone else?" He said, angrily.
He did miss Kiamiey very much, the more he thought of her the less he felt like giving up.
"I won't lose!! I won't die!!!" he said, as his body was rushing with anger and madness.
A cluster of demons started acting boisterously out of control, trying to bite the flesh. Cold blooded thirsty they were, they ran towards him.
"No, I won't let you!" he shouted.
His sword came up and lowered to the ground, he took a big swing like a baseball bat and sliced the demons in half; they moved no longer. Parts of dead beasts lied on the ground, solemnly. Carcasses were all that was left of their unforgotten memories.
"Ten down...a billion more to go," he said, as he wiped the sweat from his face.
Two hours later he slashed, pounded, stabbed, thrashed, and killed one hundred more demons. He was becoming drenched in sweat the longer he fought. The more he looked around the more demons it seemed to be, it was almost like the population was growing. He slayed a herd more in just one swing of the sword, and was ready to fight on. Demons from all directions were growing more fawned of him; the more he killed. As he held his sword up like swinging a bat, the sleeve from his robe started to roll down a little. There it was, the emblem on his hand, the scar of the cloud. The one thing that could defeat these heartless animals. "That's it!" he said. He then lowered the tool down from his view, and held his hand in the air. He used the front of his hand with the scar; facing the sky, and concentrated. His scar started to glow luminously. The clouds started reacting to the power as the color lightened within. With only a few seconds to spare the grave, red clouds moved aside. A blinding object started to peek through.
"It's working," he said.
The demons glanced up at the sky, stiff. The light was causing them to freeze, they couldn't move from this powerful scar. He then used his blade and soared it through the air as it sliced and stabbed their small evil bodies. But that was only the beginning of the fight, for there were many more left that still hadn't been killed.
"This is going to take forever!" He complained.
The fiery light poked through the clouds as demons were still paralyzed in their positions. Shaiten then lunged at them with his blade, ready to kill them for good; until his sword suddenly slipped from his sweaty hands.
"NO!" He shouted.
Though the demons were stiff they could still see what was going on in their callous minds. His sword fell to the scorching hot dirt, and started to melt into mush. Soon the ground absorbed the metallic liquid like a sponge.
"No, my sword!" he cried.
His father had finally vanished. Everything he had left felt destroyed, murdered. It wasn't just a sword, it was his last memories he had of his life before. Not only did he not have his sword but the scar's powers started to ware off from the sky.
"It's gone," said Shaiten, "all gone," as his voice trailed off in shock.
He was too speechless to say anything about the killing of his lonely weapon. His sword was no longer a sword, the life was no longer a soul. The only remaining was the heat resistance handle lying on the overly hot ground.
"I have nothing else but my powers, which are useless to them. There immune to Kia's and all other life forces, I'm helpless, I'm...going to die. No, I can't talk like that...Kiamiey is counting on me!!! And they killed what was left of him!!! They obligated my father's tool!!!" his anger was rising.
Without any warning, the demons were suddenly released from the scar, as they charged at him. Lodging their hungry, soulless bodies towards Shaiten. They clinked onto his body as their deadly teeth sunk into his skin, right through his clothes, bleeding venom, poisonous venom through his blood. The pain was the worst experience he ever felt, he could feel the venom rushing through his veins.
"NO!! What are you doing??!!" He cried, in pain.
It would take only minutes till the venom would reach his heart, and he would easily die.
"I won't...lose, I made a...promise...to Kiamiey!!!"
His fists tightened with strength, trying not to pass out. He struggled, trying to break free from the pinches of their disgusting fangs. He felt weak, and his eyes became drowsy.
"If...I die...the whole...entire...world...will die....along with...me!!"
He couldn't bare to risk his life when it would involve every single soul. As the venom emptied from their teeth, the demons released him and he was free from the pain, but was still full of venom. His heart was racing, and his breathing became rapid, but he didn't have time to worry about it. He knew he was becoming closer to death. Without thinking, he fell to the ground with little pain in his body. A round piece of copper fell out from his robe, his eyes became clearer. He slowly reached his hand toward it, and gently clenched the shinny object in his hand. "Kia...miey," he said, as his voice became weak.
No matter how much pain he was in, no matter how much closer he was to dying, he wouldn't give up. He weakly rose from the ground, tiredly.
"Alright...you little...demons...it's time to die with my own....bare hands!!!"
His grasp became loose and the coin suddenly fell from his hand.
"No," he said, as his eyes widened.
It dropped to the ground and miraculously wasn't harmed from the heat. It lied still, awaiting for someone to clutch it in their hands. An evil demon came up to the coin as Shaiten watched in pain. The thing observed it, then suddenly snapped it in its jaw with one gulp. Shaiten watched the dishearten demon's throat, as the lump slid down to the stomach.
"I...can't...believe it!!" He cried. "First you make me lose what I had left of my father, and now...that was Kiamiey's...and you...ate it!!"
The creature chuckled atrociously. Shaiten's eyes filled with hatred, anger gleaming fire that rose inside. He dodged at the thing and clasped it between his hands, tight around its neck, forgetting all about the horrid pain; choking the animal to death.
"Spit it out now!!" He demanded.
The creature's eyes were blank, with no feelings at all. He shook the animal. Shuddering it hard; forcing it out, but it didn't do anything.
"Fine...I guess I'll do it the hard way," he said.
His hands became tighter than ever as his fingers sunk into the dirty skin of a demon. Ice cold blood secreted gruelingly, oozing down his fingers, but he didn't care, all he cared about was that coin. Her face, as she handed it to him, tears streaming down her soft, inisent cheeks; hoping he would come back. The demon's head became loose and was now lifeless. He then reached in the throat, digging his hand in the stomach, scourging his hand through the gagging guts. His hand could feel something flat and round as he pulled the coin out; covered in blood.
"Kiamiey's not going...to be...very happy...with me..."
The coin looked stained and ruined. He tried whipping the blood off with his robe but it didn't have the sparkle to it like before.
"She's going...to..Be...so mad!!! Because all of you...ugly...dirt bagged...animals!!" He shouted, as the anger inside him fell free.
His eyes were scorn as he coldly glared the demons in the face. They had no emotion whatsoever.

Shaiten's feet were becoming numb, he was losing control over them. Soon he wouldn't feel his body anymore, and his lungs would soon be paralyzed along with the rest of him; making his body no longer his.
"No, I have to hurry....before...I die!" He cried, his eyes weren't the same anymore, they were filled with pain and madness.
He held the coin tight in his fist, more demons started to run at him.
"No matter what I do...they don't listen!!"
The demon's didn't pay any attention and was attempting to drain more venom inside him.
"I won't let you..."
His hands moved so fast and violent. His fists met their bodies with a powerful force, as they collapsed to the heated ground. Over half the demons were now gone but there were still many more he never fought.
"I don't...think...I can go on...like this!"

Kiamiey laid in bed with Chickachow by her side, stroking his back slowly with her fingers.
"I know he's out there, but where?" She didn't care what Kiki said.
She still wanted to go, but it would take her two months to resist the heat, and would have to have a Shihiro to train. She would do anything, but she had no other way; Kiki would know where she was, monitoring her like a child.
"It isn't fair!" She cried, squeezing her pillow tight, "what if he's in trouble, and something happened to him?" She couldn't help but wonder, was he okay?

He was almost touching death, the venom was coming closer to his heart. Demons were surrounding him, watching his every move like a vulture. He could no longer feel his arms and legs anymore, and was lying on the hot surface like a chicken in an oven.
"This is not... how I wanted this to happen...what did I do wrong?..."
His vision was becoming weaker and his energy was running out. He had no other choice but to surrender.
"Shi...hiro!" he said weakly. Within seconds, a huge white blanket from nowhere soared through the air, demons receded slowly.
"I...can't do this...anymore," he said.
The Shihiro landed in front of his view. He slowly crawled onto the Shihiro wearily; dragging his arms and legs weakly. He was on, the Shihiro drifted a few feet from the ground.
Suddenly, the soaring white sheet, started doing something he had never seen before. A strong powerful light gleamed inside this floating creature, releasing a bright blue beam that struck what was left of the demon's who survived; killing the rest.
"What?" He said, confused.
Demons were scattered all over the ground, and were defeated. The Shihiro floated, waiting for the command.
"Let's...go...home..." his voice trembled.
He gave a slight smile but started to drift off in to his mind. He was too tiered to realize what the Shihiro had done, he had no feeling to care. His eyes became heavy and slightly closed, his vision was falling, and was silent. He had officially vanquished the battle but was sword less, and was dying because of it. He no longer had the weapon of his father, the thing that kept the memories alive. The good luck charm was now scuffed, scratched, and red spots of blood beaded through. The Shihiro left the evilness of the land and was off to the better part of the world.

It wasn't long till morning; Kiamiey awoke from her bed tiredly.
"Another day," she said, as she stretched.
Chickachow gave a small yawn and jumped out from her bed. She got dressed and headed down stairs, where she found her aunt sitting at the kitchen table sipping tea.
"I’ve been waiting for you to get up," she said.
"What do you mean?" Asked Kiamiey.
"Did you forget?"
"I don't know, what are you talking about?"
"How easily we tend to forget these days, today's the day you start working at my shop! Remember what you told me?"
"Oh yeah, I guess I did forget," she said.
Kiamiey wasn't looking forward to it, she was too busy concentrating on other things than to sale fish all day.
"So, are you ready to get started?" Her aunt asked, happily.
Kiamiey wasn't too happy about the idea. She made the agreement before this whole thing ever happened, when she had nothing else better to do.
"Don't tell me you're backing out of this Kiamiey, you did make an agreement," said her aunt.
"Yeah I know, guess we should get started," she said, somewhat disappointedly.
At the Sushi Shop Kiamiey slowly wrapped fish in wax paper keeping them fresh while a customer stopped in to purchase one. Kiamiey awaited the order.
"Yes, I'd like to by a fish," said a costumer.
"What kind?" Kiamiey asked, as if she never wanted to do it in the first place. "You don't seem very happy," the man said.
"Yeah well look, life isn't easy," she said.
Kiamiey's aunt glared at her from the back room.
She just shrugged her shoulders and went on.
"Well, how about that sweet fish?"
"Fine," she said, as she lazily threw the fish on the counter.
"That'll be ninety-five cents," she said, depressed.
"Here, you don't have to be so rude," said the costumer, as he handed her the money and walked to the door, where he left.
Kiamiey's aunt came out.
"What do you think you're doing, scaring the costumers? This isn't like you Kiamiey, would it hurt to smile a little and act a little friendlier towards the costumers?"
"I'm sorry," she said.
Suddenly the sound of the ringing door appeared, as a women walked in.
"Yeah what do you want?" She asked, still in the same mood.
Her aunt looked at her mad, as she was watching her from behind.
"I would like to buy one of those carps," the women said.
"Okay," Kiamiey said, sounding a bit nicer.
She grabbed the fish, wrapped it in wax paper and handed it to the women.
"Thank you," said the women.
"That comes to sixty-five cents," she said, in a tired tone.
The women handed the money and walked out the door.
"You could have at least said, have a nice day," her aunt said.
"I forgot," she said.
Before she could say anything else, a blanket of blackness covered her eyes, but her vision suddenly became clear again. It came too fast, it was like it never happened.
"You know you don't have to work here if you don't want to," said her aunt.
"I don't? But I made an agreement."
"That doesn’t matter, you're better off doing your own thing," said her aunt.
"Well okay," she said, as she took of her apron and dashed out the door confused. "Finally I'm free," she said, happily.
She felt like a new person again, refreshed, and happy. She almost forgot what she was worrying about in the first place.
"My coin, I wonder if he still has my coin I gave him. It's his now, I gave it to him, I knew I shouldn’t of, but he dose deserve it. What if he loses it?"
She wasn't sure what was happening to her precious piece of copper. She decided to take a walk to take a break to get the things off her mind.
"I haven't taken a walk by myself in a long time," she said, feeling the breeze through her hair.
"There's so many things that I haven't done in so long all because of my stupid worrying."
"What's so wrong about worrying?" Said Kiki's voice, from the sky.
"You again? Why do you always have to follow me all the time?" She asked, angrily.
"You're just upset because Shaiten's not around, isn't that right?"
"No it's not, I just want to be alone that's all," she said.
"Well fine, don't come complaining to me if you're clueless."
"What do you mean?" Asked Kiamiey.
"We just have to know everything, now don't we? If you must know, something's not right," said the aged voice, solemnly.
Kiamiey felt a sharp pain hit her chest at those shirking words. She didn't feel the same, senselessness filled her mind.
