Alice
She sits on her pillow, choking back tears, making her wishes to be a better person, unheard and in vain. Bryan, Jade, Adrian, Jacob, Shelly, All the people I've hurt. Can't I do anything right? She thinks to herself as her tears soak her black bedspread. Her mom has left for the night, somewhere getting stoned, as usual. She quietly opens the wine cabinet, and pulls out her stash of Chardonnay and Marlboro Lights. She lights up the cigarette, downs the wine, and sobs quietly to herself, "Everyone would be so much better off if I were dead." Her thoughts scream, Thats it! I'll erase myself, and all the pain I cause in the process! She goes into her room and pulls out a piece of paper and a black ink pen.
Anyone who cared about me,
I'm sorry. I couldn't take it anymore. Bryan, I'm sorry I hurt you. You won't have to feel pain for me anymore. Hope you and Melly do alright. Jade, I'm really sorry but I was sick of bieng used as just another girl to fool around with. I love you and I miss you, This will end our pain. Liam, I'm sorry it had to be this way. I really liked you. Love you like a brother, I'll miss you. Adrian, It's not like I even meant anything to you at all. This won't matter. Sorry. Pixie, I'm sorry I messed things up between us. I love you like a sister. Goodbye. And Mom, no matter what I said before, I love you, I'm sorry I'm such a dissapointment.
She seals up her suicide note, places it on a pillow, and writes, "FORGET ME" on the bottom. She pulls out a razorknife and screams in pain as the blade pierces her skin and cuts the words, "I LOVE YOU" and "GOODBYE" into her wrists. She means to bleed out right then and there, but twenty minutes later, she just feels dizzy and sick. It's raining outside, but she doesn't care. She runs down to the beach where she had slept so many nights when it wasn't safe to go home. She sobs as she runs into the water, but she begins vomiting profusely. I'm going to die now. She thinks, dazed. In a fit of insanity she runs onto the pier she had frequented when she was a child. She looks at the end of the pier, contemplating silently. The insane fire in her eyes burns twice as bright as the moon, and as she runs, she smirks slightly. Her last words as the black, churning waters consume her are, "I love you!"
