* * * * * * * * * * "No, there is no way I’m going to that pathetic, vain school! It’s out of the question," she hissed angrily, crossing her arms across her chest as she shoot a hardened glare at her older brother and practically her only one, Syusuke. Ever since the battle between Britannia and the Japanese Resistence, she didn’t want anything to do with Brittanians or any sort of them. It was true, she was half of the royal blood, but she declared herself a 100% Japanese girl, just like her mother. Beside, she swore she would have her revenge on eliminating the empire, and she planned on keeping that promise. For all the people who died. For her parents and her dearly missed brother, Hoshiro.
"Sakiko, please...this is a really good scho-," Syusuke started until she rudely interrupted him.
"The blood who killed our parents? Those people who killed Brother Hoshiro?" she bitterly recalled, pressing her lips together while her blue eyes converted toward the floor, "You think I can just forgive that filthy empire? They took away everything!"
Her hand swung at a glass vase, slinging it off of the wooden table as if crashed on the marble floor. The sharp shards laid lifeless on the floor, just like the dead corpses during the attack on Japan which was now considered Area 11— considered Area 11 to all ******** Brittanians.
Brushing the bangs that covered his eyes, Syusuke gave his little sister a tired look and frowned.
"I do realize that, Sakiko. How can I forget?" he asked, staring at the glass window that plastered on the wall, exposing a darkened city with flashing city lights that glittered in pride, "But, it’s all in the past. So what if Japan is occupied by Brittanian troops? This is how life is, and you have to accept the fact." She stared at the carpet floor of the apartment, wishing she could just destroy the empire by just a snap of her fingers, but he was right...what can one person do? A sigh escaped her lips as she shook her head, snatching the brochure from the coffee table that was in front of her.
"It looks suitable," she commented, scanning through the picture of the school, "But that’s about it. The uniforms are horribly designed, and the curriculums are deranged. Tch, why am I not surprised? You can always expect this from Brittanian scum." Syusuke scoffed at her judgement and rolled his velvet purple eyes, walking toward her and grabbed the pamphlet out of her grip.
"It’s good, trust me," he told her in an irritated voice, "You’ll meet friends. I can guarantee you’ll be happy at the boarding school!" Sakiko uttered a fake giggle as she shoved her hands into the pockets of her black hoodie. Her facial expression softened as she flopped onto the leather couch, staring up at the mocha-colored ceiling.
"You’re just glad to get rid of me, I’m not stupid," she snapped, frowning at bit, "And...why would I befriend Brittanian blood?" Hearing her little commentary, Syusuke shook his head, disagreeing with her. Why couldn’t she move on? Why couldn’t she be the happy-go-lucky girl he grew up with when their parents and older brother were still living? He knew she was really close to her Father and Mother, but that gave her no excuse for keeping this lifelong grudge against Britannia that she has developed 7 years ago.
"No, it’s on our parents’ will, Sakiko. I would much be please as to send you to any school you desire, but mother insists to place you in this establishment," Syusuke notified, sitting next to his sister as she absentmindedly stared at the blank television, "This is for our parents. At least make them happy by just attending this school." She gazed at him and casually shrugged, slumping against the couch.
"Whatever, what grade shall I be placed in, oh great one?" she sarcastically asked, flailing her hand up in a bored gesture.
"You’ll be a Senior there, considering how well advanced you work, educational wise," he said in reply, "You’ll attend weaponry knowledge lessons there." Suddenly, a smile exploded on her face as she grinned, for once happy at the news Syusuke had to give.
"Good, I’ve always wanted to become a Weaponry Specialist," she chimed cheekily, running a hand through her long, glossy lavender hair. She clasped her tongue against the roof of her mouth, making a clicking noise, "Finally, something I look forward to...hopefully."

"My name is Rei Sakiko Kurisutaru, Fourth Princess of the Kurisutaru Empire," she said mournfully, handing a manila folder to the directory lady that was filled with documentary. Just as she expected, the blonde-haired woman dropped her jaw and stared at her.
"P-Princess...of the Kurisutaru...E-Empire!" the woman shrieked, her eyes glittering in admiration. Sakiko sighed heavily and nodded, narrowing her eyebrows to try and conceal the glare that was forming in her midnight blue eyes. The lady swallowed roughly as sweat began to appear on her forehead.
"Of course! Of course!" the directory lady stuttered, rummaging through the drawers to her wooden desk, "Lady Kurisutaru, I apologize! I was not expecting you to come here until next week. Um, I’m sorry!" Sakiko stared at the nervous woman in aggravation, already developing a slight hatred toward her. Adjusting the backpack strap that slung over her shoulder, she shrugged casually and bit the inside of her lower lip.
‘Yup, I told Brother Syusuke this place was messed up.’ Sakiko thought angrily, ‘Tch, you’ll be happy at the boarding school! Bullshit...’ The directory lady hastily handed Sakiko a hard white piece of paper, apparently the schedule she was assigned to.
"I am sorry that took awhile, Lady Kurisutaru! Forgive me for my unorganized behavior during your arrival!" the lady apologized sincerely, a fidgety smile appearing on her wrinkled face, "I will notify the Head Office of your arrival. Welcome to Ashford Academy!" Silently scoffing at her introduction, she simply nodded and turned her back. Sakiko began walking out of the Main Building to the dormitory she was assigned.
"Ugh, those uniforms are horrendous," Sakiko snorted quietly, staring at the girls that were giggling near a white stone bench, "Light yellow is such an appalling color." She then converted her gaze back to her schedule that was gripped by her fingertips. Digging her hand into her skirt pocket, she pulled out her cell phone and slide it open. Pressing the number 3, she speed dialed her older brother.
"Hello?"
"Brother Syusuke, this school is terrible!"
"Sakiko, Mr. Sumayta just dropped you off ten minutes ago, and you hate it already?!"
"Yes. In fact, I do. The service here sucks, and like I said before, horrible uniforms!"
"Sakiko, seriously. Why do you have to criticize so harshly?"
"I do not."
"Yes, you do. I will not register you out, yet. At least stay there for 2 months."
"Two months? Brother, I think you’re going over the boundary."
"No, I am not! Now, no more of your petty complaints and get over it."
"Fine, but if I come out of this school being an idiotic moron, it’s all your fault!"
"Whatever. I wouldn’t mind, then you wouldn’t have a brain to complain with. See you in the next two months!"

Sakiko moaned and clasped her phone down, stuffing if into her pocket as she continued her way toward the dormitory. Her brother was right about everything. Maybe she just was being too hypocritical. But, you couldn’t blame her! This place was swarming with Brittanian flesh, it wasn’t a surprise Sakiko felt a pulse of hatred drilling into her mind.
"Hey! Wait up!" a feminine voice called out. Sakiko immediately stopped her fast pace and glanced back, seeing a girl with long orange hair running toward her.
‘Great, a stupid preppy whore.’ Sakiko thought in vibes of ignorance.
"Hi!" the orange-haired girl greeted, her breath in pants, "Are you new here? I have never seen you before." Sakiko stared at the girl and slowly nodded, keeping her mouth shut.
‘No duh, Sherlock! I will never socialize with a Brittanian girl’ Sakiko declared in her thought.
"So, what’s your name?" she asked curiously, looking at Sakiko with a friendly grin on her face. Sakiko held up her schedule and pointed at a certain spot on the hard card.
"Your name is...Rei Sakiko Kurisutaru?" she said, looking at Sakiko with her eyebrow raised. Sakiko nodded, her face blank and blunt, obviously expressing she didn’t feel like talking to anyone now.
"Cool! I’m Shirley Renette! Welcome to Ashford Academy, Sakiko...may I call you Aki?" Before Sakiko could shake her head in response of saying no, Shirley smiled cheerfully and nodded vigorously.
"Okay. See you later, Aki!" Shirley coaxed, running the opposite way that Sakiko was going.
‘Strange girl with her pathetic nicknames’ Sakiko thought, turning back to continue to head to her dormitory.
‘Maybe I can get use to this place after all...’ As Sakiko walked passed a group of girls, she heard them talk about Japan...or as they would call it, Area 11.
‘Or maybe not.’ Sakiko thought bitterly, glaring homicidally at the group as she continued walking by.
