The IPhone is going to be a total bust!

Now don't get me wrong whoever is reading this journal entry, the IPhone is a good idea but I think all this hype is going to murder it in the end. crying Everything that's hyped up to be the next "revolutionary in it's market" usually crashes to a fiery death with everyone laughing at it while it cries for mercy. Sorry. I just went into rage/death mode, it happens when I get a vivid picture in my head. Anyways...The IPhone has many problems that aren't helping it become the revolutionary it can be.
1.That touch screen.
Someone in marketing, testing, or even common sense should have seen that this a bad idea. It's almost like they decided they wanted the IPhone to be for the person who doesn't have any other friends who want to touch the IPhone and lives with a disease that grants them to not have oily hands. My IPod has a hard enough time staying clean without a touch screen so how long is an IPhone really going to last? The thing is going to be dirty even before you get it home because while you were in line your hands started to develop that nasty sweating thing your family has genetically rolling around the family because you got excited for the release. Nobody wants to touch a dirty sock and it is the same way for a IPhone.
2.Battery
The fact that that you have to charge the IPhone up every night because basically they put a IPod battery in the thing is going to get annoying very quickly.
3.Commercials
Everyone has seen those IPhone commercials. If you haven't then you're one of the lucky few. If you haven't then here is a 2 second summary by Ocarina10. Basically they show the features of what the IPhone has to offer you, the viewer. While I was watching this I was thinking, and you probably were too after seeing the commercials 1200 times, isn't that just a Blackberry(or Crackberry depending on your love of the little thing) that's given a new set aluminium design and a fancier layout? Anytime you see a commercial advertising something and you start thinking about how similar it is to something else you can guesstimate that PR or marketing didn't quite do it's job correctly.
On a final note Apple is great at making computers/laptops and media devices but Apple if you're trying to rule the world there is no reason jump into a new frontier. You're already ruling the media world, even though Microsoft is a little late with the Zune, so lets leave some world left for other corporations. If the wireless market takes off what's left, making Apple Ethanol for the next generation of cars?
