My music scale (2010)
I am 16 now and am updating my music scale!
5-6 years old: First came in contact with Weird Al, mostly listened to country and classical music.
7 Years old: I got Avril Lavign's first album (Yes, I got her first album, before you knew who the hell she was, I was listening to her at 7 years old. It was 'Let go') My brother gave it to me.
8 Years old: I heard "The Anthem" by Good Charlotte and have been a fan ever since. Was also introduced to Blink 182 and Green day. I had some trouble figuring out what was what at first because I had a burned CD with both of them on it.
9 Years old: I saw "Wake me up" by evanescence, one of the first music videos I have ever seen. Have been a fan ever since.
ALSO, Played tony hawk Underground and due to the soundtrack on there was introduced to Goldfinger- been a fan ever since.
10 Years old: Played Dead or Alive and due to the soundtrack became a fan of Reel big fish and have been a fan ever since.
11-12: Lost interest in Avril. Due to music videos I was introduced to three days grace, linkin park, and papa roach and became great fans. Was not particularly interested, but still listened, to Yellow card, toybox, Aqua, and Papaya. Became a large fan and bought an album from All American rejects
13: Became a fan of Happy hardcore, my favorite artist being Blumchen. Also fell in love with MxPx
14: Became more interested in Toybox and Aqua. Introduced and became a fan of Crazy Town. Also fell in love with colbie caillat from her song Bubbly, and the Plain white T's from Delilah
15: trance and techno became loves. Got more into Basshunter, alice DJ, Daddy dj, groove coverage, and more. Got into Taylor swift, Jason Mraz, third eye blind, an Colbi Cailate (SP!!!)
At 16 no change yet =)
