Who would have guessed? A few music label agents were apparently hidden in the crowd last night in Club X during 'Band Night'. These agents, hoping to find some new blood for the new generation have been on a quest, hopping from one club to another bar, searching for talent. They happen to arrive at Club X on Saturday night just before the club became over packed.
Around midnight, just when COLOR was doing their third and last performance for the day, one of the agents was seen walking into the backstage. Audience members describe a young man of Caucasian descent with bleached hair and a lot of piercings sneaking through the curtains and into the dressing rooms.
Two girls, Ally and Zoe Creight, who were waiting for they favorite bands in the backstage were vary of the Caucasian man and decided to follow him. They followed him into the dressing room and hid behind some drums. The girls said they heard him asking a few band members from different bands to meet up with him after everyone has left in the manager's office.
According to the girls, the man talked to band members from the band, STONES, PANTHER, and LUCK.
After asking a bit, the man got up and left the room. The two girls having spotted Kei, their idol and STONES' drummer, stopped following the Caucasian man to get Kei's autograph.
By then COLOR has finished their performance and the audience were done giving them flowers. But one fan, Patrick Seine, being shy, took a while before he summoned enough courage to approach COLOR, saw a man of Asian descent with short cropped hair with shades on his head walk up to Hot Pink.
The fan heard the man asking Hot Pink and her band to join him in the manager's office. Then the man just left. Hot Pink, spotting the fan, came over and hugged him, thanking him for the wonderful flowers.
Afterwards, Seine walked home in daze, oblivious to any other incident that might have occurred that night.
Now we know that at least a total of four bands has been asked to meet with these mysterious audience members. Their motives are still unknown and whether they have any malice or good will directed toward these young bands, we do not know until we found a witness.
Even though the manager, George Haynes, and band members were not allowed to mention anything that was discussed in that office last night, we found someone who was not under any kind of oath.
The witness, who asked to be kept anonymous, describes the same two men whom some of the audience member has described already, but there was one more woman. According to the waiter, this woman "was unnaturally pretty; her eyelashes was long and lush. She had long straight Oriental black hair that seemed to flow perfectly down her back. And even though she had Asian features, her skin [complexion] was very fair, kind of like she was white."
The witness missed the beginning of the discussion, the introduction part, but he was very sure that the mysterious people were agents. The reason is because the witness was sure that he heard the woman say "...this opportunity will allow you to broaden your horizons and create new music. We have the resources to help you move forward and reach your full potential. Your music is good now, but wait until you sign with us."
Then Kei from STONES replied in a rather cocky manner, "[You make it] sound nice. But I know you just want to milk as much profit out [of] us as you can."
Our witness was not able to listen to the rest of the conversation. But he faintly remember hearing the manager trying to encourage and help compromise with both parties as the witness was leaving the club. "Haynes always did talk a bit loud", said our witness.
The identity of the agents and which record label they are from are still unknown because the manager and all of the bands were asked to keep silent until they have made a decision.
Our guess is, the descision is whether or not the bands will sign with the label or not. Please stay tune as we investigate this matter farther. Who sent these mysterious agents and will the bands sign? Many questions, but no answers yet.
