Hailey woke up on the grass a few hours later. She was still layed back against Chibi, and Shima was curled between them. She lay there for a long time, just looking up at the sky as the sun set. There was a lump in her throat that made it hard to swallow, but it didn't really matter, it wasn't like she could talk anyways. She felt dried tears down her cheeks as she was obviously crying in her sleep.

She'd had that dream every night sense it happened, it just kept replying itself in her head, over and over and over. Shima finally woke and started to prance around like he wanted to play, but Hailey wasn't in the mood. She flicked her hand around a few times as she chased it, but then he took to biting on Chibi's tail.

There was the sound of leaves crunching on the ground from behind Hailey, and she slowly turned. She gasped a little when she looked up at the tall man standing there behind her. Clad in a brown trench coat he stood tall, glasses shined in the light, and his hair blew in the wind a little. He took a few steps closer and then sat down, right next to Hailey.

He smiled. "Long time no see." He said with a small wave of his hand. Hailey stared at Hohenhiem in astonishment. She'd only met him once before, and it sounded like he rarely came back to a place again. She waved a little, but didn't speak-not like she could. "How've you been?" He asked calmly, watching the playfully kitten as he slowly came closer to examine him.

Hailey shrugged. He was a little taken aback. Last time he had been here, she had talked to him, she talked to him more than his own son did for that matter. He sighed leaning back in the grass. Hailey figured he'd received a notice that Ed had died, and he figured he might as well come to see Al. "Wasn't there two of you girls?" He finally asked from where he lay on the grass. Hailey's eyes widened a little and they threatened to over flow tears again. "Alright...How's my son doing?" He asked another question. "Your the one that always had an eye on him." He said with a small chuckle as he saw her cheeks stain pink a little as she turned and glared at him.

He sat up as she quickly got up and started for the building, carrying Shima with her. "H-Hey wait! I-I was only teasing!" Hohenhiem yelled nervously as he grabbed his suitcase and followed after her quickly. Chibi watched him walk away and stood up. He walked back around the front of the HQ building tiredly.

Hailey stomped up the steps and shoved the doors open angrily as Hohenhiem trailed in her steps. Tears were falling down her cheeks again and she let the door slam behind her.

Roy had stepped out of his office, and was going to go outside and look for her, but then he saw her stomping down the hall, clutching the kitten close. "H-hey, something wrong?" He asked as he noticed her tears and how mad she looked. She didn't look or anything, she only stomped past. He turned and watched her for a moment. "Hailey! Get back here now!" He demanded, but she ignored.

Roy was suddenly hit from behind and stumbled forward. "OH! I'm so sorry!" Hohenhiem exclaimed as he reached down to help the man up that he had just knocked down. Roy was looking down and he grabbed the hand that was held out. "Roy..?" Hohenhiem breathed as Roy finally looked up, shock on both of their faces.

Hohenhiem quickly helped Roy up and tired to excuse himself. "You sent me the letter and you said you wanted a meeting." He said quickly as he kept an eye on Hailey before she rounded the corner. "I'll be right there, I have to apologize to her though, first." He said as he went to take a step forward.

Roy understood now. "Hold on." He said as he held onto Hohenhiems sleeve. "I think a meeting with me would be better now.." He said, a sad expression on his face. Hohenhiem had seen that look in Hailey's eyes as well. "A-alright.." He nodded nervously.
