hmm... can't say I've ever had a really bad idea. I always tend to try and make then story book worthy so they tend to be awesome ideas... even my "Stupid story collection" r ok.
Usually your first idea IS a bad idea-- at least before you develop it. Ever notice how explaining a short story makes you sound stupid? Often it's the writing itself that justifies the story's originality and shows things you can't or shouldn't explain in a summary. If you think you don't have any bad ideas, either you mean you discard them so quickly that they don't matter, or you have no clue what a bad idea looks like.
