Time
Marina forced herself to remain strong, in spite of wanting to hide from the memories of her past. "Midnight!" she screamed, praying that he'd arrive before it was too late for him to save himself. "Midnight, hurry!""Yes, Midnight, hurry. Hurry to the side of your beloved woman. Not that it'll do either of you any good," a voice sneered behind her. Marina whipped around to see Vakir standing standing there, holding a sword covered in blood. Her blood from her fight with him, she realized, as red blood could not be drawn here. "How did you get here?" Marina hissed. "Wouldn't you just love to know?" Vakir taunted, holding the blade out towards Marina. "Too bad, I'm not telling. I'm not - you," Vakir shot at Marina, but his image flickered in teh middle of the sentence. It didn't escape Marina's notice. "You....... You're not actually here, are you Vakir? You just an illusion, a trick of the residual magic that I haven't quite rid myself of. Well, guess what? I'm not afraid of illusions, Vakir. Not anymore," Marina cried, allowing herself to summon up enough powers to flush the rest of Vakir's powers from her system, accepting the flood of memories that accompanied it. She heard his voice again, closer now. "Marina! Marina! If you can hear me, come towards me! I'm.... I'm almost out.... out of... time," Midnight called, looking down at his now-fading hands. "Damn, I thought I could last longer. Where is she? I MUST find her! Marina!" Marina heard every word that Midnight had said, and shot towards the sound. "Midnight! Midnight! I'm here! I'm coming! STAY PUT!!" she ordered, catching a glimpse of him as she got airborne while leaping over a dark rift. "Please, hang on, Midnight. I'm coming, then we can leave." "Midnight!" "Marina!" Midnight cried in elation as he saw her coming full sprint at him. She coveredthe distance in another thirty seconds, and hit him with a hug that got both of them airborne. "Marina! Dear God, I was afriad.. I thought..." "Midnight, hush. Save your strength. Wait until we're free to talk," Marina ordered, holding Midnight close to her and closing her eyes. We're ready. A bright light surrounded them, and they left the confines of Marina's subconsciousness.

Marina's Journal
I don't have a particular theme here. I'll post when I'm bored or I find something interesting. Read it if you want to, I could care less. It's just a means of putting my words on a screen so that at least I can see them.
