Hello again! Today is what I would call a "snow day" usually a day where school is closed and friends are able to spend a full day doing whatever they like together. Although, this snow day is nothing like the name claims it to be.
Last night, there was a HUGE snowfall, I asked my mother and bugged her for hours asking for a day off, so I could hang out with my friends.. I got the day off, but I didn't get to hang out with my friends like I wanted. When I woke up my parents were at home, frustrated by the snow messing up their work plans for the day they were arguing from 7:30 am, until about 11:10 (When they finally left for work and I got some peace and quiet.) I was unhappy to find that all my friends went to school, except for one. (Whom was Alucard I might mention.)
The school wasn't closed, I was so angry when I found that out! My school is evil, no matter how much snow falls, it stays open and expects everyone to attend! Even if only 10 people showed up, they would continue classes regardless. Which I say; is pretty stupid. My friends and I share that "The day _______(school's name) gives a snow day, is the day that hell freezes over!" (Which would be the day we all die because there would be no heat left in the world. It would be like that movie.. The day after tomorrow.. only worse.)
In any case, I'm doomed to do absolutely nothing, my plans failed and my mother gave me a long list of CHORES to do, since I have the day off. I would usually have a pretty good attitude about having a day off, but right now I just wish that I went to school. sweatdrop sad I'm secretly hoping someone will rescue me from my insanity, I'll walk to a friends' house if I have to! Through snow and ice.. or I could just take the bus because they're just as relentless as my school is. That;s only a wish though, there is no such thing as a snow day, not for me anyways.. just a day to do chores and regret being alone.
