I hate Fridays.
When someone takes a blood test on Friday they have to wait until Monday to get the results.
My Uncle Gorden (grandma's brother in law) had some blood work done.
Poor aunt Anette has been worried sick. We think he may have lukeemia.
I worried that thats the case. His legs have been hurting him real bad, he real tired all of the sudden, he's lost a bunch of weight.
Aunt Anette told us she prayed, in the back room at their house, Uncle Gorden feel asleep so he didn't hear her. I couldn't help but cry.
Their whole lives its always been the two of them, their children rarely visit them.
They are used to being together by themselves. I don't know what Anette would do without him. We would be there for her of course but how would she deal with this emotionally? Anette is a very emotional woman, which is why she's always felt secure with Uncle Gorden.
Aunt Anette was telling us that she told god she would still praise him.
As it says in the good book about praising god during the storm.
She told god that what ever they were going to be ready for that she knew god would not let them go through this alone, that he would be right their with them through the storm.
I cried when I heard that, she truly is a good woman. A woman that could only ever dream of becoming someday.
I pray that this is only something temporary and small. Please let this pass lord, let it be done.
If your reading this, even if your not a christian, just good thoughts from your heart does not go un noticed, every prayer counts whether your a christian or not, the greatest gifts we give to one another is love.
