Here's the poem I wrote for George Herman's seminar. He seemed to like it, but what do YOU think? Feel free to pm me about it. smile (12 1/2 more days!) whee XP


Dream

Silver rivers, sparkling oceans,
glass trees whisper to you.
Paper lanterns float gently on the breeze.
You have entered Eternal Dream.

Blue jellyfish fly with the starfish,
and pandas eat cucumbers raw.
The monkeys chase turtles and lemurs
through the forest of birch and stars.

Lemon lanterns glow in darkness,
while foxes read books in the house.
A light stretches from here to there
made of orange, yellow and green.

Music is seen by all creatures
and bent into songs by their hand.
Children's eyes sparkle while the flute plays
a chilling but beautiful tune.

When it rains the water forms goldfish.
Kids catch them with gusto and glee.
If you're lucky you'll manage to snatch one,
but make sure it's tail doesn't freeze.

The mothers make strawberry pie
on days that are gloomy or gray.
They listen to thunder on their windows
as it laughs and asks for a slice.

Palm trees gather in bunches
to discuss why the clouds need to dance.
The argument is soon forgotten,
the trees kiss the clouds once again.

Homes are in trees, and owls plant flowers
every inch, space, or plot of the Earth.
You can feel every word, every song, every thought.
You have entered Eternal Dream.

Never stop dreaming.
