I've been thinking over what will be covered in this entry for the past couple of weeks.
The human race has a very significant characteristic: Selfishness.
In today's society, it's not small.
It's international.
International?! How can I justify this claim?!
Do I even need to point at the Iraq War? The Bush administration wants to continue the oil hierarchy. They REFUSE to invest into alternative sources for energy.
That's not the point of this entry though.
Today's society is so ******** up that there is political correctness, watered-down products, sell-outs, and a lack of morals.
Morals being a lack of a common goal.
Actually, today's society DOES have a common goal.
MAKE AS MUCH ******** MONEY AS POSSIBLE AND ******** OVER AS MANY PEOPLE AS IT TAKES TO DO SO.
That's right.
We have lost our sense of scientific direction for green slips of paper that are ASSUMED to have value.
That's right. What you read is correct.
ASSUMED.TO.HAVE.VALUE.
Today's $$ is based on the Greenback ideology. This means that currency has a value based on trust. No, not the trusts like the ancient Rockefeller Standard Oil. Today's currency is NOT based on a precious metal.
This means that in a crisis (We're about to enter one if someone doesn't correct the economy. Obama is not going to do it, BTW.), all of the bureaucrats are powerless.
Those with the firearms have the power. Which they should have in the first place. Do I need to point at the Second Amendment?
"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants." - Thomas Jefferson
"Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former." - Albert Einstein
"Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both." - Benjamin Franklin
"I think computer viruses should count as life. I think it says something about human nature that the only form of life we have created so far is purely destructive. We've created life in our own image." - Stephen Hawking
"Non-violence leads to the highest ethics, which is the goal of all evolution. Until we stop harming all other living beings, we are still savages." - Thomas Edison
