Hajimemashite and Konnichiwa, minasan! ^-^

Ah! I just completed the entire manga series "Fruits Basket" for the third time now. I just read the ending again, and I'm on the verge of tears. It's so happy, yet so madly depressing at the same time...I'm kind on confused right now... ^^;; It is probably my favorite manga of all time, and I'm upset that it's over. But on a happier note, the author of "Fruits Basket", Natsuki Takaya, has just released a new series in Japan called "Hoshi wa Utau". I'm sure it will develop into a great series! But, reading the first few chapters, I can't help but feel like I'm supposed to know what's going on. Maybe it's because it's very similar to Takaya's first manga? Maybe, but I'll still read it, none the less (despite my confusion)! ^-^

I won't spoil anything for those of you out there still reading "Fruits Basket", because let me tell you, you would feel completely different had you skipped right to the end. To feel the emotions Takaya-sensei intended you to feel, you must read every page, word for word. I realize my impatience, and I almost...regret it (reading online scans, I mean). But I will continue to buy the books as a comfort that this manga truly does exist, and people all over the world are reading it!

So...that's all for now (please excuse my rambling, gomen ^^;; ), and I hope that you will keep reading "Fruits Basket" (and check out "Hoshi wa Utau", too ^^).
