Today we lost a very special person. Frau Koopman was a German Teacher at my school who touched the lives of many of her students and even some people who never took her class. I've never been in her class myself, but I've known her all four years of my high-school career. She was always a strong, kinda kooky lady, and you couldn't help but love her. Sometimes she could really hit a nerve, but it was always to try and help you out. If she made fun of you, it was always really just in jest. She didn't like it when people were sad, dramatic or if they mourned too much. She once told a student that every day is a blessing. Live them happily for them[the person who has passed] as well as yourself. She was speaking with a student who had lost a friend during freshman year.
I'm going to end this journal entry here for now, with a promise to put up an article on her really soon.
