The forest around Tina's home was quiet. The spirit foxes around the home were happily playing and gathering around Ekone, who decided to spend his time outside for the day. Onima sighed and watched him from the window of the kitchen, though while she was watching him, someone came in and began watching her. Boem, Zapook's blue grunny, had slithered in and started to watch her.
After turning as seeing him coiled on the table, she took another deep sigh and sat down at the table.
"Hey there. Were you stalking me?"
Boem only stared at her.
"I know, I know. I should same something...But what if he doesn't even like me?"
Boem blinks a few times, and tilted his head.
Onima sighed, "Yeah...he does flirt with Zapook...and Tina...and even Aussa. He's flirted with me as well..but..."
Boem began scratching his head with his hind foot.
"Ok..he's flirted with me as well. But I'm always so shy around him!"
Boem let out a half-hearted 'gruff'.
"...You're right! I'm gonna have a talk with him. Right now even! And get him to see the light! Thanks little blue bunny."
As Onima hopped off and made her way outside, Boem sat there on the table, watching her, before giving a smile, and a nod of approval.
Zapook was back in her lab, trying to concentrate on her notes and charts, with Yinxao sitting next to her. Instead of being the distraction, for once, Yinxao was only watching Zapook as she scratched her arms, face, and torso feverishly. After a while, Yinxao let out a concerned meow, causing Zapook to stop scracthing.
"What? I'm fine. Just..I think I got bit...by...some..."
Zapook began to stare at Yinxao. Yinxao looked about, then stared at Zapook with her ears folded back. A smile spread across Zapook's face, and her tail started to wag. Yinxao looked around, hoping to find something to break the awkward moment, only to find herself eying Zapook's arm. Catching her glance, Zapook looks down at her arm, seeing part of her own arm lightly covered in black hair.
"...Oooo...this ain't good."
Outside of the house, Onima was now sitting next to Ekone, watching the spirited foxes run about Tina's house.
"Thanks for joining me. Makes me feel a little better, ya know?"
Onima giggles, nodding, "Of course! Though..Why were you depressed?"
"I don't know...Feel left out sometimes."
"Left out? But I see you talking to the others a lot."
Ekone laughs nervously, "Aha...well...trying to ask a girl out and just..talking are two different things."
"Oh...How many times have you asked them out?"
"Pssh...Babe, I lost count."
Onima's ears drooped to the side of her head, and with a sniffle she looked down. "Oh. ...You only asked me out once..."
Ekone jumped a bit, "Oh! Really? Uh...I...Uh...it's just that...you...um...are so...ah! See...You're so different...It's hard to approach you! I...well. Don't know how to."
Onima's ears perked up once more, and she grinned, giggling, "Ok then...Just do what a guy like you, would usually do with a girl like me."
Onima smiled and leaned on him, giggling. Her words echoed in Ekone's head. Her looked down at his own naga tail, then stared at Onima's ears, and shrugged.
Onima spent her next hour screaming, and running from a drooling Ekone.
