"Any reason why you and Tina are avoiding me, Zee?"

Zee only shrugged, placing a hand on Zapook's shoulder. "You stink of mutt. More than usual. You really shoulda seen this comin'."

"Yeah. I know...but don't you think this is a bit much?" With a growl, Zapook pointed up toward a tree, where Tina was clinging to a branch, whimpering.

Zee was only able to shake her head as her and Zapook stared up the tree.

Onima, however, was running like a maniac in the background. Ekone was close behind her, with his arms open, ready to grab her. With a scream, she ran over, and with one powerful bounced, ended up clinging to the same tree as Tina. Ekone slithered up next to Zapook and Zee, and the three of them stared up and began shaking their heads.

Zapook sighed, "This is just sad..."



The spirit foxes that had gathered around Tina's home began running pass them in groups. Both Ekone and Zapook looked toward Zee, who only grunted and growled, "Fine...I'll go check it out," before stomping off after the foxes.
Zapook sighed and started to follow after her.

They found themselves at an abandoned campsite. The foxes were rummaging around, and digging through the left behind belongings. Zee and Zapook Decided to take a look around.
Zee sniffed about and stared about in a confuse, yet cautious manner.

"I'm pickin' up two scents here. One seems a bit familiar, but this site is old...I can't really make it out..." Zee said as she turned toward Zapook, only to find Zapook sitting on the ground and scratching her heard with one foot. "...Ok, that's it. We need to get you checked out."

So...they did. And to add to the fun, they called in Zapook's old friend, and Koopling's creator...Dr. Meteor to help them out.

"Dis...Iz very bad. Very very bad." He said, walking out of Zapook's room.

Zee waved her hand in the air, like an antsy school child, "Oh! Oh! Lemme guess! She's got head puppies!"

"...Um...Anyhoo... This potion you mention. She tested it on herself, ya? Let's see...It brought out ze canine in her."

Tina cleared her throat, "Ahem...excuse me...The canine in her? She's part human and part vampire. There's no canine in her but the tail that she attached to herself."

"And zat tail brought in the 1% canine in her genetic make up."

"Sooooo...Does this mean we have to take her out back with a shotgun?" Zee said jokingly, which only earned her a glare from Tina.

The good doctor rubbed the back of his head, "Actually...this may be the case. She's going to keep growing more body hair...And seeing as how you all are...felines...Your relationship may change with Zapook. Unless I can get an antidote to her."

"Meh. Figures. So what are we suppose to do with her 'til then?"

"Keep an eye on her. Confine her if she starts to get out of hand. I shall return to my lab and see what I can come up with!"

Zee growls, "Great...just...great...."
