The Monday before Thanksgiving I had a project due for my engineering class which was, with my two partners build a bridge that can span a meter gap and hold a bunch of weight. Doesn't sound that hard right? Oh wait sorry I forgot to mention how it has to be made out of Spaghetti and glue. And for all you non Italians reading this Spaghetti is the round pasta, linguine is the flat ones. We could only use Spaghetti so it has to be round pasta rather than any flat noodle.
While looking for ideas on the internet my two partners and I found a site that holds a spaghetti bridge contest with the same rules we had, but I can't seem to find the site.
But since I'm so proud of how it came out I'm posting pictures of it here. We were able to hold 110 grams or 1.1 kilograms before it broke. I was so pissed when it collapsed because I knew it could of held more if it didn't get damaged in transportations from my house to the school. But we did crush 3 out of the 5 bridges.
Since my pictures are huge I'll just show the first one and link the rest.
