I hate snow. I also hate weathermen. "I predict 8-11 inches of snow" scream BULLSHIT! We only got 3-4 inches of snow and I still had school. Worst yet I had to dig my car out to get there and find parking. It took me about 10 minuets to change my car from white to blue and about 10-15 minuets to get to my school which isn't very far and takes me 10 minuets on a normal day when I'm running late and have to deal with traffic. ( sweatdrop Run on sentence). Even after that I was still somehow early eek . I went to 1st period, which is English. I see my teacher and 1 kid talking to her. I walk in my class and I'm the only one there for a few minuets. By the end of the period there were 6 students and our teacher. We had so much fun watch the stupidity of our school and the lack there of of common sense. To get in the parking lot of my school you have to make a turn and go up a little ramp pass the main entrance and go around to it's back and there is parking. Because who ever shoveled did a horrible job it was nearly impossible to actually get up the slight ramp with out A) skidding and losing control or B) sliding back down and hitting the car behind it. We were hoping that a car would skid back down into traffic and get hit by an oncoming SUV or something like that (hopefully no one would get hurt so don't think I'm sick in the head) just so the school would know better and do what they can to prevent against it in the future. For the record no one got hit. We did see one smart student. Instead of going in the in way he went in the out way with a lot less snow and less of a ramp. I'm so glad I parked on the street and didn't have to deal with it.
My whole day was really nice. Only 2 classes I had to do work (3 if you count gym). Almost my whole Calculus class was here and my economics teacher was absent so we had sub work. The joys of being a senior. Most of them are sick with senior idous or didn't want to drive 40 minuets to get to school. Something very unique with my school is that fact it's a public school and I'm going to say 1/2 or the students comes from the same town as it and the other 1/2 comes from a town 40 minuets to an hour away. Why? The geniuses in there town build the high school on a swamp and it sunk. blaugh Since there aren't enough kids in there town to have a high school and my town needs the income of them they don't build another high school. Today was a really good day! blaugh
